Description
Claims (3)
- 被照射体に対して照射部からスキャニング方式により荷電粒子線を照射する荷電粒子線治療装置であって、
前記照射部は、
前記荷電粒子線を走査する走査電磁石を備え、
回転ガントリによって前記被照射体周りに回転可能とされ、
前記走査電磁石に電流を流して前記被照射体の形状に応じて前記荷電粒子線を走査させながら照射する場合、前記回転ガントリの中心線と直交し、且つ前記中心線を通過する基軸を基準として前記荷電粒子線を照射し、
前記走査電磁石に電流を流さない状態で前記荷電粒子線を照射したと仮定したときにおいて、前記照射部の出射口から照射される前記荷電粒子線は、前記中心線を通過しないように前記基軸に対し一方向へ傾斜している、荷電粒子線治療装置。 - 前記照射部へ前記荷電粒子線を輸送する輸送部を備え、
前記輸送部は、所定の平面内で前記荷電粒子線の軌道を変更して、前記照射部へ前記荷電粒子線を入射させ、
前記走査電磁石を作用させないときにおいて、前記照射部の出射口から照射される前記荷電粒子線は、前記平面と直交する方向から見たときに、前記基軸に対して傾斜している、請求項1に記載の荷電粒子線治療装置。 - 前記荷電粒子線の軌道を変化させる偏向電磁石を備え、
前記走査電磁石は、前記偏向電磁石の下流側に配置される、請求項1又は2に記載の荷電粒子線治療装置。
