Claims (2)
- 軽量対称ガラスの生産方法であって、
(a)第1の外側透明層と、第1の内側透明層と、前記第1の外側透明層と前記第1の内側透明層とを接合するための第1の中間層とを有する非対称ガラスを選択するステップであって、前記第1の外側透明層の厚みは、前記第1の内側透明層の厚みよりも大きく、前記第1の外側透明層の前記厚み及び前記第1の内側透明層の前記厚みは、全体的ガラス強度、ガラス剛性、音波減衰、石衝撃耐性及びこれらの組み合わせを含む群から選択された要因に従って選択されるステップと、
(b)前記非対称ガラスの前記第1の外側透明層の前記厚みを、前記非対称ガラスの前記第1の内側透明層の前記厚みに加算することによって、前記非対称ガラスの透明体の全厚を決定するステップと、
(c)前記軽量対称ガラスを生産するステップであって、
(1)前記非対称ガラスの前記透明体の全厚の2分の1の厚みを有する第1の透明シートと、前記非対称ガラスの前記透明体の全厚の2分の1の厚みを有する第2の透明シートとの間に、ポリマー材料のシートを配置して、前記第1の透明シート、前記ポリマー材料のシート及び前記第2の透明シートが対称積層スタックを形成するステップと、
(2)前記対称積層スタックを加熱して、前記ポリマー材料のシートが前記第1の透明シートと接合し、前記ポリマー材料のシートが前記第2の透明シートと接合して、前記軽量対称ガラスを形成し、前記軽量対称ガラスが、前記非対称ガラスと同じ単位面積当たり重量を有するが前記非対称ガラスの2,500~8,000Hzの範囲におけるコインシデンス下落よりも小さいコインシデンス下落を2,500~8,000Hzの範囲において有するようにするステップと、
を含む、ことを特徴とする方法。 - 前記対称積層スタックを加熱する前記ステップは、オートクレーブにおいて行われる、
