Description
上述の実施の形態では、エンジン10の始動装置として、ヒータ26を含む構成とし、エンジン10の初回始動が予測される場合に、キャパシタ温度Tcがしきい値Cに到達するまでヒータ26をオン状態にするものとして説明したが、ヒータ26を省略し、キャパシタ温度Tcに応じたヒータ26の制御処理を省略してもよい。
今回開示された実施の形態はすべての点で例示であって制限的なものではないと考えられるべきである。本発明の範囲は上記した説明ではなくて特許請求の範囲によって示され、特許請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。
Claims (2)
- エンジンの始動装置であって、
前記エンジンの出力軸を回転可能に構成されるスタータモータと、
前記スタータモータに電力を供給するキャパシタと、
前記キャパシタおよび他の電気機器に電力を供給するバッテリと、
前記バッテリの電力を用いて前記キャパシタを充電可能に構成される充電装置と、
前記バッテリと電力の供給先とを、電気的に接続された接続状態と電気的に遮断された遮断状態とのうちのいずれか一方から他方に切り替えるスイッチと、
前記キャパシタを加熱する加熱装置と、
前記スイッチの動作を制御する制御装置とを備え、
前記制御装置は、
前記エンジンの停止時において、前記バッテリのSOCが前記エンジンの始動に要する電力量とキャパシタ温度を予め定められた温度に上昇させる電力量との和に対応する第1の値よりも小さくなる前に前記遮断状態になるように前記スイッチを制御し、
前記エンジンの始動が予測される場合に前記接続状態になるように前記スイッチを制御し、前記バッテリの電力を用いて前記キャパシタを充電した後に、ユーザにより前記エンジンの始動が要求される場合に前記スタータモータを駆動させて、前記エンジンを始動させ、
前記キャパシタの温度が第2の値よりも低い場合に前記キャパシタが加熱されるように前記加熱装置を動作させる、エンジンの始動装置。 - 始動装置によって始動可能なエンジンの始動方法であって、前記始動装置は、スタータモータと、前記スタータモータに電力を供給するキャパシタと、前記キャパシタおよび他の電気機器に電力を供給するバッテリと、前記バッテリの電力を用いて前記キャパシタを充電可能に構成される充電装置と、前記バッテリと電力の供給先とを、電気的に接続された接続状態と電気的に遮断された遮断状態とのうちのいずれか一方から他方に切り替えるスイッチと、前記キャパシタを加熱する加熱装置とを含み、
前記エンジンの停止時において、前記バッテリのSOCが前記エンジンの始動に要する電力量とキャパシタ温度を予め定められた温度に上昇させる電力量との和に対応する第1の値よりも小さくなる前に前記遮断状態になるように前記スイッチを制御するステップと、
前記エンジンの始動が予測される場合に前記接続状態になるように前記スイッチを制御し、前記バッテリの電力を用いて前記キャパシタを充電するステップと、
前記キャパシタの充電完了後にユーザにより前記エンジンの始動が要求される場合に前記スタータモータを駆動させて、前記エンジンを始動させるステップと、
前記キャパシタの温度が第2の値よりも低い場合に前記キャパシタが加熱されるように前記加熱装置を動作させるステップとを含む、エンジンの始動方法。
