Description
2wt%を超えないFe2O3、
30-40wt%MgO+CaO、
35-45wt%SiO2、
17-24wt%Al2O3、
1-5wt%K2O+Na2O。
MMVFと母材の原材料とを混ぜて混合物を作成し、
環境圧力を超える圧力を混合物に加えることによって成形体を作成し、
成形体を加熱することによって摩擦材を作成する。
30-40wt%MgO+CaO、
35-45wt%SiO2、
17-24wt%Al2O3、
1-5wt%K2O+Na2O、
2wt%を超えないFe2O3。
MMVFと母材の原材料とを混ぜて混合物を作成し、
環境圧力を超える圧力を混合物に加えることによって成形体を作成し、
成形体を加熱することによって摩擦材を作成する。
MMVFと充填剤及びその他の繊維とを混合し、
その他の残りの構成要素を追加して、混ぜて混合物を作成する。
実施例1のブレーキディスクパッドの比較対象として他のブレーキディスクパッドが作成された。各構成要素の相対的な量は実施例1と同様であった。作成方法は実施例1と同様であった。実施例2で用いられるMMVFに含まれる化学組成は表4に示す。
繊維長さ及び繊維直径は、画像処理のためのAxioCamデジタルカメラを備えるCarlZeissAxioskop2顕微鏡を用いて測定された。
MMVFの3つのサンプルが作成され、それぞれが同様の化学組成を有し、同じ平均繊維直径4μmを有するが、平均繊維長さについては異なる。これらの繊維(MMVF)の物理的な特徴は以下の表8に示す。
(a)繊維の耐荷重性による機械的効果、この効果は短い繊維について提案される、短い繊維は摩擦材の表面上の単位面積についてより多くの数を含み、よって長い繊維よりも多くのアンカリング点を提供しうる、
(b)摩擦材の表面上の繊維のかごにより形成されたネットワークにおいて長持ちする第三体の層の堆積効果、この効果は長い繊維について提案される、
(c)中間の繊維は(a)と(b)との効果の組み合わせを示しうる。
Claims (15)
- 摩擦材は母材に分散された人造ガラス繊維(MMVF)を含み、前記MMVFは、
2wt%を超えないFe2O3、
30-40wt%MgO+CaO、
35-45wt%SiO2、
17-24wt%Al2O3、
1-5wt%K2O+Na2O、
を備え、
前記母材は20wt%を超えない鋼繊維を含み、
前記MMVFの直径の数平均は3から4.5μmであり、
前記MMVFは長さの数平均が250から550μmである摩擦材。 - 前記MMVFの直径の数平均は3.5から4.5μmである、請求項1に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記MMVFは、
1.5wt%を超えないFe2O3、
34-39wt%MgO+CaO、
37-43wt%SiO2、
18-23wt%Al2O3、
2-4wt%K2O+Na2O、
を備える、請求項1から2に記載の摩擦材。 - 前記母材はアスベスト及び銅を含まない母材である、請求項1から3に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記母材は15wt%を超えない鋼繊維を含む請求項1から4に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記MMVFは3から15vol%存在する、請求項1から5に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記母材は潤滑剤、研磨剤、結合剤、及び充填剤を含む、請求項1から6に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記摩擦材は5から17vol%の研磨剤、0から10vol%のMMVF以外の強化繊維、5から17vol%の潤滑剤及び5から25vol%の結合剤を含む、請求項1から7に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記結合剤は有機熱硬化樹脂を含む、請求項7または8に記載の摩擦材。
- 前記母材は導電性ポリマーを含まない、請求項1から9に記載の摩擦材。
- 請求項1から10に記載の摩擦材を作成する方法であって、前記方法は、
MMVFと母材の原材料とを混ぜて混合物を作成するステップと、
環境圧力を超える圧力を混合物に加えることによって成形体を作成するステップと、
前記成形体を加熱することによって摩擦材を作成するステップと、
を含む方法。 - MMVFと母材の原材料とを混ぜて混合物を作成するステップはさらに、
前記MMVFと充填剤及びその他の繊維とを混ぜるサブステップと、
残りの構成要素を加えて、混ぜて前記混合物を作成するサブステップと、
を含む、請求項11に記載の方法。 - 前記母材の原材料は、加熱するステップにおいて硬化する結合剤の原材料を含み、前記母材の原材料は、加熱するステップにおいて硬化する、請求項11または12に記載の方法。
- 前記MMVFは、0.5wt%を超えない大きさ>125μmのショットを含む、請求項11から13に記載の方法。
- 前記MMVFは、1.5wt%を超えない大きさ>63μmのショットを含む、請求項11から14に記載の方法。
