他方、裏金層に必要な強度は、裏金層のうちの高フェライト相部以外の部分により担保できる。裏金層は、高フェライト相部を除き、通常の量のパーライトを有する亜共析鋼の組織であるので、強度が高い。このため、摺動部材は、軸受ハウジングへの装着に伴う周方向応力や軸受装置の運転時に摺動部材に加わる周方向力による塑性変形が起き難い。
また、後述する2次焼結時に裏金層2の摺動層3との界面となる接合表面21付近(高フェライト相部5の表面付近)には、後述する銅合金4の成分がフェライト相6に固溶される形態で拡散することがあるが、この場合も本発明の範囲である。
また、銅合金4は、0.5~12質量%のSn、0.01~0.2質量%のPを含み、さらに、選択成分として0.1~15質量%のNi、0.5~10質量%のFe、0.01~5質量%のAl、0.01~5質量%のSi、0.1~5質量%のMn、0.1~30質量%のZn、0.1~5質量%のSb、0.1~5質量%のIn、0.1~5質量%のAg、0.5~25質量%のPb、0.5~20質量%のBiから選ばれる1種以上を含むようにすることもできる。Ni、Fe、Al、Si、Mn、Zn、Sb、In、Agは、銅合金4の強度を高める成分であるが、含有量が上記下限値未満の場合には、その効果が不十分であり、また、上記上限値を超える場合には、銅合金4が脆くなる。Pb、Biは、銅合金4の潤滑性を高める成分であるが、含有量が上記下限値未満の場合には、その効果が不十分であり、また、上記上限値を超える場合には、銅合金4が脆くなる。なお、銅合金4にこれら選択成分を2種以上含有させる場合、合計で40質量%以下とすることが好ましい。
2次焼結工程の昇温中のA1変態点(727℃)に達する前に、圧延部材の裏金層(鋼板)は、内部に比べて活性な状態にある銅合金層との界面となる接合表面付近が先に再結晶現象が起こる。このため、A1変態点に達する直前は、裏金層の接合表面付近と内部とで組織中のフェライト相とパーライトの割合は変わらないが、フェライト相の結晶粒は、表面付近が内部に比べて大きくなる。
組織中のフェライト相は、炭素原子をほとんど固溶しない(最大で約0.02質量%)ため、裏金層の表面付近のオーステナイト相は、内部よりも少ない量(体積)で、パーライトが含んでいた炭素原子を固溶することになり、裏金層の表面付近と内部のオーステナイト相では、炭素原子の濃度差が発生する。この濃度差をなくすように表面付近のオーステナイト相が含む炭素原子が内部のオーステナイト相へ拡散し、表面付近の組織中に含まれる炭素の量は、内部の組織中に含まれる炭素量よりも少なくなる。
(i)銅合金層との界面となる接合表面付近の組織中に含まれる炭素量は、内部の組織中に含まれる炭素量よりも少なかったこと、及び、
(ii)昇温中の表面付近と内部での組織中に残るフェライト相の体積割合が違うこと
により、冷却後、表面付近の組織中のパーライトの体積割合は、内部の組織中パーライトの体積割合よりも少なくなったと考えられる。
Claims (7)
- 背面および接合表面を有する裏金層と
前記裏金層の前記接合表面上に設けられた銅合金からなる摺動層と
を備える摺動部材であって、
前記銅合金の組成は、0.5~12質量%のSn、0.01~0.2質量%のPを含み、残部がCu及び不可避不純物であり、
前記裏金層は、0.07~0.35質量%の炭素を含有する亜共析鋼からなり、フェライト相およびパーライトからなる組織を有し、
前記裏金層は、前記接合表面に高フェライト相部を有し、前記裏金層の厚さ方向の中央部における組織中のパーライトの体積割合Pcと、前記高フェライト相部におけるパーライトの体積割合Psが
Ps/Pc≦0.4
である、摺動部材。 - 前記高フェライト相部の厚さT1が1~50μmである、請求項1に記載された摺動部材。
- 前記裏金層の厚さTに対する前記高フェライト相部の厚さT1の割合X1が0.07以下である、請求項1または請求項2に記載された摺動部材。
- 前記裏金層の組成は、0.07~0.35質量%のC、0.4質量%以下のSi、1質量%以下のMn、0.04質量%以下のP、0.05質量%以下のSを含み、残部がFe及び不可避不純物である、請求項1から請求項3までのいずれか1項に記載された摺動部材。
- 前記銅合金は、0.1~15質量%のNi、0.5~10質量%のFe、0.01~5質量%のAl、0.01~5質量%のSi、0.1~5質量%のMn、0.1~30質量%のZn、0.1~5質量%のSb、0.1~5質量%のIn、0.1~5質量%のAg、0.5~25質量%のPb、0.5~20質量%のBiのうちから選ばれる1種以上をさらに含む、請求項1から請求項4までのいずれか1項に記載された摺動部材。
- 前記摺動層は、前記銅合金の素地中にAl2O3、SiO2、AlN、Mo2C、WC、Fe2P、Fe3Pのうちから選ばれる1種以上の硬質粒子を0.1~10体積%を含む、請求項1から請求項5までのいずれか1項に記載された摺動部材。
- 前記摺動層は、前記銅合金の素地中に、MoS2、WS2、黒鉛、h-BNのうちから選ばれる1種以上の固体潤滑剤を0.1~10体積%を含む、請求項1から請求項6までのいずれか1項に記載された摺動部材。
