Description
≪車載温調装置の構成≫
図1~図3を参照して、第一実施形態に係る冷却システムを搭載した車載温調装置1の構成について説明する。図1は、車載温調装置1を概略的に示す構成図である。本実施形態では、車載温調装置1は、特にモータによって駆動される電動車両又はモータ及び内燃機関によって駆動されるハイブリッド車両に搭載される。したがって、車両100(図3参照)は、モータジェネレータ(MG)と、MGを制御するパワーコントロールユニット(PCU)と、MGに電力を供給するバッテリとを備える(いずれも図示せず)。
制御装置5は、バッテリ温度センサ52、PCU温度センサ54、室内温度センサ56、外気温度センサ57及び操作パネル58の出力信号に基づいて、車載温調装置1の作動モードを設定する。以下では、図4~図6を参照して、車載温調装置1の代表的な作動モードについて説明する。図4~図6では、冷媒や冷却水が流れている流路が実線で、冷媒や冷却水が流れていない流路が破線でそれぞれ示されている。また、図中の細い矢印は冷媒や冷却水が流れる方向を、太い矢印は熱の移動方向をそれぞれ示している。
次に、図7及び図8を参照して、低温回路3における第1ポンプ31及び第2ポンプ32の制御について説明する。図7は、PCU流路3b及びバッテリ流路3cにおける冷却水の目標流量の設定手法を示す図である。また、図8は、第1ポンプ31及び第2ポンプ32の目標出力の設定手法を示す図である。
このように構成された低温回路3では、PCU流路3bにおける目標流量及びバッテリ流路3cにおける目標流量をいずれも増大させる場合には、第1ポンプ31及び第2ポンプ32の出力をいずれも上昇させることなる。また、PCU流路3bにおける目標流量及びバッテリ流路3cにおける目標流量のうち一方を増大させ且つ他方を維持する場合にも、第1ポンプ31及び第2ポンプ32の出力をいずれも上昇させることなる。
図11は、第1ポンプ31及び第2ポンプ32の出力を制御する制御ルーチンを示すフローチャートである。図示した制御ルーチンは一定の時間間隔毎にECU51によって実行される。
次に、図13-図15を参照して、第二実施形態に係る車載温調装置について説明する。第2実施形態に係る車載温調装置の構成及び制御は基本的に第一実施形態に係る車載温調装置の構成及び制御と同様である。以下では、第一実施形態に係る車載温調装置と異なる部分を中心に説明する。
図15は、図11のステップS18で行われる出力調整処理の制御ルーチンを示すフローチャートである。図15に示したように、まず、ステップS41では、ポンプ31、32の出力の変更中であるか否かが判定される。ポンプ31、32は、例えば、図13及び図14における時刻t1とt2との間の期間において出力の変更中と判断される。

Claims (9)
- 車両を駆動するモータと該モータを制御するインバータと前記モータに電力を供給するバッテリとを備えた車両に搭載される、冷却システムであって、
外気と熱交換するラジエータと、
前記ラジエータに接続されると共に、第1ポンプと、前記インバータと熱交換する第1熱交換器と、を有し、前記第1ポンプが作動すると前記ラジエータ及び前記第1熱交換器を通って熱媒体が循環する第1流路と、
前記第1流路と並列に前記ラジエータに接続されると共に、第2ポンプと、前記バッテリと熱交換する第2熱交換器と、を有し、前記第2ポンプが作動すると前記ラジエータ及び前記第2熱交換器を通って前記熱媒体が循環する第2流路と、
前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの作動を制御する制御装置と、を備え、
前記制御装置は、前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に上昇させるとき又は前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に低下させるときには、前記第1流路を流れる熱媒体の流量がその目標流量よりも一時的に多くなるように前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を制御する、冷却システム。 - 前記制御装置は、前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に上昇させるときには、前記第2ポンプの出力よりも前に前記第1ポンプの出力を上昇させる、請求項1に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に上昇させるときには、前記第2ポンプの出力の上昇速度よりも前記第1ポンプの出力の上昇速度が速くなるように前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を制御する、請求項1又は2に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に低下させるときには、前記第1ポンプの出力よりも前に前記第2ポンプの出力を低下させる、請求項1-3のいずれか1項に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を共に低下させるときには、前記第1ポンプの出力の低下速度よりも前記第2ポンプの出力の低下速度が速くなるように前記第1ポンプ及び前記第2ポンプの出力を制御する、請求項1-4のいずれか1項に記載の冷却システム。

- 前記制御装置は、前記インバータの素子温度と前記第1流路内を流れる熱媒体の温度とに基づいて前記第1流路における熱媒体の目標流量を算出する、請求項7に記載の冷却システム。
- 前記制御装置は、前記バッテリの素子温度と前記第2流路内を流れる熱媒体の温度とに基づいて前記第2流路における熱媒体の目標流量を算出する、請求項7又は8に記載の冷却システム。
