Claims (4)
- 車幅方向に延びる車輪ハブを回転自在に支持する車輪ハブ軸受部、前記車輪ハブを駆動するモータ部、および前記モータ部の出力回転を減速して前記車輪ハブ軸受部に伝達する減速部とを備え、
前記減速部は、
車輪ホイールの内空領域に配置され、
前記モータ部のモータ回転軸と結合する入力軸、前記車輪ハブと結合して前記入力軸と平行に延びる出力軸、前記入力軸および前記出力軸と平行に延びる1つ以上の中間軸、前記入力軸と結合する入力歯車、前記出力軸と結合する出力歯車、および前記中間軸と結合する複数の中間歯車を含み、1の前記中間歯車は前記出力歯車よりも大径であり、前記入力歯車と前記複数の中間歯車と前記出力歯車とが互いに噛合して前記入力歯車から前記複数の中間歯車を経て前記出力歯車に至る駆動伝達経路を構成し、
前記入力軸の軸線、前記中間軸のうち少なくとも1つの中間軸の軸線、および前記出力軸の軸線は、この順序で車両前後方向に配置され、前記中間軸のうち少なくとも1つの中間軸の軸線は、前記入力軸の軸線および前記出力軸の軸線よりも上方に配置され、前記入力軸の軸線は前記出力軸の軸線よりも上方に配置される、インホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記入力軸および前記出力軸は車幅方向に延び、
前記出力歯車の下縁が前記入力歯車の下縁よりも下方に配置される、請求項1に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記1つ以上の中間軸は、前記入力軸の上方に隣り合うよう配置されて前記入力軸から駆動トルクを供給される最初の中間軸、および前記出力軸の上方に隣り合うよう配置されて前記出力軸に駆動トルクを供給する最終の中間軸を含み、
前記入力軸の軸線と前記最初の中間軸の軸線と前記最終の中間軸の軸線と前記出力軸の軸線は、軸線方向にみて、前記入力軸の軸線と前記最初の中間軸の軸線と前記最終の中間軸の軸線と前記出力軸の軸線とを順次結ぶ基準線が逆U字を描くよう、配置される、請求項1または2に記載のインホイールモータ駆動装置。 - 前記車輪ハブは筒状体であり、
前記車輪ハブ軸受部は前記車輪ハブの中心孔に配置されて前記車輪ハブを回転自在に支
持する固定軸をさらに含む、請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載のインホイールモータ駆動装
置。
