Description

Claims (15)
- 電気的に動作するエアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのカートリッジであって、
液体(7)を貯蔵するための液体貯蔵部分(8)と、
第一の表面(1a)および第二の表面(1b)を備える流体透過性発熱体(1)であって、前記第一の表面(1a)が液体(7)を受け取るように上流位置に配置され、前記第二の表面(1b)が液体(7)を気化された形態で放出するように下流位置に配置される、流体透過性発熱体(1)と、
第一の細長い端部(6)および第二の端部(9)を持つ毛細管本体(5)であって、前記第一の細長い端部(6)が前記液体(7)と接触するように前記液体貯蔵部分(8)の中へと延び、前記第二の端部(9)が前記発熱体(1)の前記第一の表面(1a)と接触する、毛細管本体(5)と、を備え、
前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第二の端部(9)における断面積が前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第一の細長い端部(6)における断面積より大きいことによって特徴付けられる、カートリッジ。 - 前記流体透過性発熱体(1)が平面型、ブリッジ型、またはドーム型である、請求項1に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記毛細管本体の前記第一の細長い端部および前記第二の端部がそれぞれ独立的に、円形、楕円形、正方形、三角形、長方形または多角形から選択される形状を持つ、請求項1または2に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第二の端部(9)における前記断面積が、前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第一の細長い端部(6)における前記断面積より、1.1〜20の係数大きい、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記発熱体が円形、楕円形、正方形、三角形、長方形、または多角形の形状を持つ、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記毛細管本体の前記第二の端部が、前記発熱体(1)の前記第一の表面(1a)の少なくとも50%を覆う、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記発熱体が、複数の導電性フィラメントを備える、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記発熱体が導電性フィラメントのメッシュもしくはアレイを備える、または導電性フィラメントの織布または不織布を備える、請求項5に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記毛細管本体が毛細管繊維(14)の大半を備え、前記毛細管繊維(14)が、前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第一の端部(6)において、前記発熱体(1)の平面と直角をなす方向であり、また前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第二の端部(9)において、前記発熱体(1)の前記平面と平行な方向である、請求項1〜8のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジ。
- 前記発熱体が複数の導電性フィラメントを備え、また前記毛細管繊維(14)の一部が前記毛細管本体(5)の前記第二の端部(9)において前記発熱体(1)の前記導電性フィラメントと整列する、請求項9に記載のカートリッジ。
- エアロゾル発生システムで使用するためのカートリッジの製造方法であって、
開口部を持つハウジングを備える液体貯蔵部分を提供することと、
前記液体貯蔵部分を液体エアロゾル形成基体で充填することと、
前記ハウジングの前記開口部を横切って延びる少なくとも1つの実質的に平面型の流体透過性発熱体を備えるヒーター組立品を提供することと、
第二の端部における断面積が第一の細長い端部における断面積より大きい毛細管本体を提供することと、前記毛細管本体の前記第二の端部を前記発熱体の少なくとも1つの表面と接触させることと、を含む、方法。 - エアロゾル発生システムであって、
主要ユニットと、
請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジと、を備え、
前記液体貯蔵部分およびヒーター組立品が前記カートリッジ内に提供され、前記主要ユニットが電源を備え、また前記カートリッジが前記主要ユニットに取り外し可能に取り付けられている、エアロゾル発生システム。 - 細長い本体を備え、前記流体透過性発熱体(1)が前記細長い本体に対して横断方向に配置される、請求項12に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 前記ヒーター組立品および電源に接続された電気回路をさらに備え、前記電気回路が、前記ヒーター組立品または前記ヒーター組立品の1つ以上のフィラメントの電気抵抗をモニタリングするように、および前記ヒーター組立品または前記1つ以上のフィラメントの前記電気抵抗に応じて、前記電源から前記ヒーター組立品への電力供給を制御するように構成される、請求項12または13のいずれか1項に記載のエアロゾル発生システム。
- 請求項1〜10のいずれか1項に記載のカートリッジを備えるエアロゾル発生システムであって、前記システムが電気的に作動する喫煙システムである、エアロゾル発生システム。
