Description
鋳片の厚み中心部の固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲では総圧下量及び圧下勾配が下記式(1)および(2)を充足し、当該固相率が0.9以上の範囲の鋳片では総圧下量及び圧下勾配が下記式(3)および(4)を充足することを特徴とする鋼の連続鋳造方法。
0.5≦ Rt1/D0 ≦ 1.0 ・・・(1)
0.5≦ Rg1≦ 3.0・・・(2)
0.2≦ Rt2/D0 ≦ 1.0 ・・・(3)
0.1≦ Rg2≦ 1.5・・・(4)
ここで、Rt1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、D0:鋳片のバルジング量(mm)、Rg1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)、Rt2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、Rg2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)
0.5≦ Rt1/D0 ≦ 1.0 ・・・(1)
0.5≦ Rg1≦ 3.0・・・(2)
0.2≦ Rt2/D0 ≦ 1.0 ・・・(3)

ここで、Rt1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、D0:鋳片のバルジング量(mm)、Rg1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)、Rt2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、Rg2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)
以下、図面を参照して、本発明の実施形態に係る鋼の連続鋳造方法の一例について説明する。なお、図3では、鋳造方向を矢印で示している。
0.5≦ Rt1/D0 ≦ 1.0 ・・・(1)
0.5≦ Rg1≦ 3.0・・・(2)
ここで、Rt1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、D0:鋳片のバルジング量(mm)、Rg1:固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)
更に、固相率0.9以上の範囲ではガイドロール群により鋳片をバルジング量の20%以上100%以下の量で圧下する。更には圧下勾配を0.1〜1.5mm/mの範囲に規定することにより、セグメントに過大な荷重を掛けることなく効果的にポロシティーを低減することが可能である。即ち、中心部の固相率が0.9以上の位置では、式(3)および式(4)を充足するように操業する。なお、中心部の固相率が1.0に達した後に圧下を継続しても良いが、式(3)で規定される総圧下量の範囲内で圧下を終了する。

ここで、Rt2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の総圧下量(mm)、D0:鋳片のバルジング量(mm)、Rg2:固相率が0.9以上の範囲での鋳片の圧下勾配(mm/m)
連続鋳造の操業において、以上の操業条件を充足して操業すれば本発明の効果を奏するものであるが、この範囲内を充足できるように操業条件を制御すれば、なお好ましい。

Claims (1)
- 鋼の連続鋳造において、鋳片を挟んで対向する鋳片支持ロール間の開度を鋳造方向下流側に向かって拡大することで内部に未凝固層を有する矩形の鋳片の長辺面厚みを鋳型内の鋳片厚みの0.1%以上10%以下の範囲内でバルジングさせ、その後、鋳片の長辺面を複数のガイドロールによって圧下する際に、
鋳片の厚み中心部の固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲の段階では、総圧下量及び圧下勾配が下記式(1)および(2)を充足し、前記鋳片の厚み中心部の固相率が0.2以上0.9未満の範囲の段階に引き続く当該固相率が0.9以上の範囲の段階では、総圧下量及び圧下勾配が下記式(3)〜(5)を充足することを特徴とする鋼の連続鋳造方法。
