具体的には、ボディパウダー、フェイスパウダー、ファンデーション、チーク、アイシャドウ、アイブロウ、粉白粉、ベビーパウダーなどを挙げることができる。

製造例1(ポリウレタン成分の製造)
窒素ガスで十分に置換し、乾燥させた2Lオートクレーブに、プラクセル308(ポリエステルポリオール、数平均分子量800、官能基数3、ダイセル化学工業株式会社製)854gとヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート1008gとを仕込み、さらに窒素ガスにて充分に上部を置換した後に密閉し、120℃で20時間攪拌・混合して反応させた。
その後、減圧下で未反応のヘキサメチレンジイソシアネートを除去した後、トルエンを加えて不揮発分90質量%とした。これにより、イソシアネート基含有8.1質量%の合成物・I・を得た。

製造例2(複合粒子の製造)
製造例1で得た合成物(I)310g、トルエン 85g、MSP−N050(ポリメチルシルセスオキサン、日興リカ株式会社,粒子径0.4〜0.6μm)22.5gを用意した。これらを反応器に入れ、混合して原材料を調製した。
別に2L攪拌機付セパラブルフラスコに水600gを仕込み、この中にメトローズ90SH-100(ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース、信越化学工業株式会社製)18.0gを溶解して分散媒を調製した。
前記分散媒を400r/mで攪拌しながら、原材料を添加して、懸濁液を調製した。
次に、攪拌継続下、懸濁液を50℃に昇温して、同温度で3時間反応させた。
その後、60℃に昇温し、同温度で2時間反応させ、更に95℃に昇温し、同温度で1時間保持して熟成させた。その後、室温まで冷却して固液分離し、水で充分洗浄し、70℃で20時間乾燥して球状の複合粒子を得た。
複合粒子は、ポリウレタン成分92.5質量%、シリコーン樹脂成分(ポリメチルシルセスオキサン)7.5質量%(原料基準)である。

Then, the temperature was raised to 60 ° C., the reaction was carried out at the same temperature for 2 hours, the temperature was further raised to 95 ° C., and the mixture was kept at the same temperature for 1 hour for aging. Then, it was cooled to room temperature, solid-liquid separated, washed thoroughly with water, and dried at 70 ° C. for 20 hours to obtain spherical composite particles.
The composite particles are 92.5% by mass of a polyurethane component and 7.5% by mass of a silicone resin component (polymethylsilces oxane) (based on raw materials).
得られた複合粒子のSEM写真(3000倍)を図1に示す。
複合粒子の表面側の層中にシリコーン樹脂(ポリメチルシルセスオキサン)の小さな粒が分散して存在していることが確認できた。

試験例1

試験例2(微小圧縮試験)
微小圧縮試験機(MCT-W500(株)島津製作所製)を使用して、複合粒子1個に対し直径が10%及び30%変形するまでの圧力を測定した。数値が小さい程、粒子が柔らかいことを示す。
試料の粒子1個に試験力9.8mNをかけた時の圧縮率と復元率を測定し、反発弾性を評価した。粒子の直径を100%とし、圧縮率は粒子の変形した割合、復元率は粒子径の復元された割合を測定した。圧縮率と復元率の割合が等しいほど粉体に反発弾性があることを示している。
比較として、シリコーン樹脂(ポリメチルシルセスオキサン)を使用しないほかは同様にして製造したポリウレタン粉末を使用した。結果を表1に示す。

試験例3
変角分光光度計(株式会社カラーテクノシステム社製)にて複合粒子を測定し、青色(450nm)、黄色(580nm)、赤色(700nm)に対する反射の程度を図2のグラフに示した。
図2から明らかなとおり、赤色の波長の光と黄色の波長の光の反射は大きく、青色の波長の光の反射は小さかった(即ち、青色の波長の光の吸収が最も大きかった)。

評価は、自然な仕上がりと自然な感じ(透明感)を下記基準により評価した。

次に、予め混合溶解させた21〜24をゆっくりと加えながら乳化機により乳化させた。その後、冷却してリキッドファンデーションとなる乳化物を得た。
表2に示す数値の単位は重量%である。
