Claims (3)
- 駆動源と該駆動源から駆動輪に到る動力伝達径路に配置された変速機とを有する自動運転車両の走行制御装置であって、
前記自動運転車両の前方を走行する前方車両を撮像する撮像部と、
前記前方車両に追従走行するように前記駆動源と前記変速機とを制御する制御部と、を備え、
前記制御部は、
前記撮像部により取得された前記前方車両の背面画像に基づいて、車高と車幅とに応じて決定される前記前方車両の車種を認識する車種認識部と、
前記車種認識部により認識された車種に応じて前記変速機の変速比を制御する変速機制御部と、を有することを特徴とする自動運転車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項1に記載の自動運転車両の走行制御装置において、
前記制御部は、前記車種認識部で認識された車種に対応した変速特性を設定する変速特性設定部をさらに有し、
前記変速機制御部は、前記変速特性設定部により設定された変速特性に従い前記変速機の変速比を制御することを特徴とする自動運転車両の走行制御装置。 - 請求項2に記載の自動運転車両の走行制御装置において、
前記変速特性設定部は、動力性能よりも燃費性能を重視した第1走行モード、動力性能と燃費性能とを両立した第2走行モード、および燃費性能よりも動力性能を重視した第3走行モードのいずれかの走行モードに対応した変速特性を設定することを特徴とする自動運転車両の走行制御装置。
