Description
LCDディスプレイに使用されるフィルム積層体に関する、波長の関数としての透過率を決定するために、シミュレーションを行った。シミュレーションは、Sanayi System Co.Ltd.(Incheon,Korea)から市販されているシミュレーションソフトウェアである、TechWiz LCD 1D Plusを使用して行った。TechWizデータベースによって提供されるランベルト光源オプションを、全てのシミュレーションに使用した。
LC移相子の厚さが1.22ミクロンで固定され、COP移相子の遅軸と反射偏光子のパス軸との間の角度(以降、COP角)が45度から60度まで様々であったことを除いて、実施例1と同様にシミュレーションを行った。LC移相子の遅軸と反射偏光子との間の角度(以降、LC角)は、COP移相子の遅軸とLC移相子の遅軸との間の相対角度を90度(すなわち、LC角は、COP角−90度)で維持しながら、−45度から−30度まで様々であった。
LC移相子の厚さが1.22ミクロンで固定され、COP移相子の遅軸と反射偏光子のパス軸との間の角度が45度から35度まで様々であり、一方でLC移相子の遅軸と反射偏光子のパス軸との間の角度が−45度から−35度まで様々であったことを除いて、実施例1と同様にシミュレーションを行った。COP移相子の遅軸とLC移相子の遅軸との間の相対角度は、90度から70度まで様々であった。

上面、該反射偏光子の該上面上に配設された底面、及び該反射偏光子の該透過軸に対して略45°に配向された遅軸を有する、第1の位相差層と、
上面、該第1の位相差層の該上面上に配設された底面、及び該反射偏光子の該透過軸に対して略45°に配向され、かつ該第1の位相差層の該遅軸に対して略90°に配向された遅軸を有する、第2の位相差層と、
該第2の位相差層の該上面上に配設された底面、及び該反射偏光子の該透過軸に対して略90°に配向された透過軸を有する、吸収偏光子と、を備え、
該第1及び第2の位相差層が一緒に、色消し1/2波長位相差層として構成される、光学フィルム積層体。
上面、底面、透過軸、及び反射軸を有する、同調反射偏光子と、
上面、該反射偏光子の該上面上に配設された底面、及び該反射偏光子の該透過軸に対して略45°に配向された遅軸を有する、1/2波長位相差層と、
該色消し1/2波長位相差層の該上面上に配設された底面、及び該反射偏光子の該透過軸に対して略90°に配向された透過軸を有する、吸収偏光子と、を備え、
該同調反射偏光子が、該1/2波長位相差層の波長分散を低減するように同調される、光学フィルム積層体。
Claims (5)
- 光学フィルム積層体であって、
上面、底面、透過軸、及び反射軸を有する、反射偏光子と、
上面、前記反射偏光子の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略45°に配向された遅軸を有する、1/2波長位相差層と、
前記1/2波長位相差層の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略90°に配向された透過軸を有する、吸収偏光子と、を備え、
前記反射偏光子は、前記1/2波長位相差層の波長依存的変調を補償して前記光学フィルム積層体の波長分散を低減するように、ある波長では反射を増加させ、別の波長では反射を低減させるように同調されている、光学フィルム積層体。 - 光学フィルム積層体であって、
上面、底面、透過軸、及び反射軸を有する、反射偏光子と、
上面、前記反射偏光子の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略45°に配向された遅軸を有する、第1の位相差層と、
上面、前記第1の位相差層の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略45°に配向され、かつ前記第1の位相差層の前記遅軸に対して略90°に配向された遅軸を有する、第2の位相差層と、
前記第2の位相差層の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略90°に配向された透過軸を有する、吸収偏光子と、を備え、
前記第1及び第2の位相差層が一緒に、1/2波長位相差層として構成され、
前記反射偏光子は、前記1/2波長位相差層の波長依存的変調を補償して前記光学フィルム積層体の波長分散を低減するように、ある波長では反射を増加させ、別の波長では反射を低減させるように同調されている、光学フィルム積層体。 - 光学フィルム積層体であって、
上面、底面、透過軸、及び反射軸を有する、同調反射偏光子と、
上面、前記反射偏光子の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略45°に配向された遅軸を有する、1/2波長位相差層と、
前記1/2波長位相差層の前記上面上に配設された底面、及び前記反射偏光子の前記透過軸に対して略90°に配向された透過軸を有する、吸収偏光子と、を備え、
前記同調反射偏光子が、前記1/2波長位相差層の波長依存的変調を補償して前記光学フィルム積層体の波長分散を低減するように、ある波長では反射を増加させ、別の波長では反射を低減させるように同調される、光学フィルム積層体。 - 前記第1の位相差層が3/4波長位相差層であり、前記第2の位相差層が1/4波長位相差層である、請求項2に記載の光学フィルム積層体。
- 前記反射偏光子の前記底面上に配設された1/4波長位相差層を更に備える、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の光学フィルム積層体。
