Description
Claims (19)
- 液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクを備える船舶において、
前記貯蔵タンクの下流に設置され、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスを冷媒として、圧縮された蒸発ガス(以下、「第1流体」という。)を熱交換して冷却する蒸発ガス熱交換器;
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器の下流に設置され、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの一部を圧縮する圧縮機;
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器の下流に前記圧縮機と並列設置され、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスの他の一部を圧縮する予備圧縮機;
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器で冷却された前記第1流体をさらに冷却する冷媒熱交換器;
前記冷媒熱交換器に送られ(以下、冷媒熱交換器に送られる流体を「第2流体」という。)、前記冷媒熱交換器で冷却された前記第2流体を膨張させた後に再び前記冷媒熱交換器に送る冷媒減圧装置;
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器及び前記冷媒熱交換器で冷却された前記第1流体を膨張させる第1減圧装置;及び
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器で冷却された前記第1流体の一部(以下、「第3流体」という。)を膨張させて再び前記蒸発ガス熱交換器に送る第3減圧装置;を備え、
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器は、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガス及び前記第3流体を冷媒として使用し、
前記冷媒熱交換器は、前記冷媒減圧装置を通過した蒸発ガスを冷媒として、前記第1流体と前記第2流体の両方を熱交換して冷却し、
前記第1流体は、前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガス;または前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスが合流した流れ;であり、
前記第2流体は、前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガス;または前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスが合流した流れ;である、船舶。 - 前記蒸発ガス熱交換器、前記冷媒熱交換器及び前記第1減圧装置を通過し、一部が再液化された液化ガスと、気体状態で残っている蒸発ガスを分離する気液分離器をさらに備え、
前記気液分離器で分離された液化ガスは前記貯蔵タンクに送られ、
前記気液分離器で分離された蒸発ガスは前記蒸発ガス熱交換器に送られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の船舶。 - 前記第1流体は、高圧エンジン上流で二つの流れに分岐し、
一部は前記蒸発ガス熱交換器に送られて冷却され、
他の一部は前記高圧エンジンに送られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の船舶。 - 前記蒸発ガス熱交換器で冷媒として使用された前記第3流体は低圧エンジンに送られることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記蒸発ガス熱交換器の上流に設置され、前記蒸発ガス熱交換器に供給される前記第1流体を圧縮する推進圧縮機;をさらに備える請求項1に記載の船舶。
- 前記推進圧縮機は、前記圧縮機の1/2の容量を有する請求項5に記載の船舶。
- 前記予備圧縮機で圧縮されて前記冷媒熱交換器及び前記冷媒減圧装置を通過した後、前記冷媒熱交換器の冷媒として使用された前記第2流体は、再び前記予備圧縮機に送られ、前記予備圧縮機、前記冷媒熱交換器、前記冷媒減圧装置、再び前記冷媒熱交換器を連結する閉ループの冷媒サイクルを形成することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の船舶。
- 前記予備圧縮機で圧縮され、前記冷媒熱交換器及び前記冷媒減圧装置を通過した後、前記冷媒熱交換器の冷媒として使用された前記第2流体は、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された後に前記蒸発ガス熱交換器を通過した蒸発ガスと合流することを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の船舶。
- 前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスを連通させるライン上に設置されるバルブをさらに備え、
前記バルブは、前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスを合流または分離するために開閉されることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の船舶。 - 前記冷媒減圧装置は膨張機であり、前記冷媒減圧装置を通過する直前の流体と通過した直後の流体は気体状態であることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の船舶。
- 液化ガスを貯蔵する貯蔵タンクを備える船舶の蒸発ガス処理システムにおいて、
前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスの一部を圧縮機で圧縮した後に高圧エンジンに送る第1供給ライン;
前記第1供給ラインから分岐して、前記貯蔵タンクから排出される蒸発ガスの他の一部を予備圧縮機で圧縮する第2供給ライン;
前記第1供給ラインから分岐して、圧縮された蒸発ガスを蒸発ガス熱交換器、冷媒熱交換器、及び第1減圧装置を通過させて再液化する復帰ライン;
前記冷媒熱交換器と冷媒減圧装置を通過して冷却された蒸発ガスを再び前記冷媒熱交換器に送って冷媒として使用するようにした後、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスと合流させる再循環ライン;
前記冷媒減圧装置及び前記冷媒熱交換器の下流の再循環ラインと、前記予備圧縮機の上流の第2供給ラインの間を連結する第1追加ライン;及び
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器の下流の前記復帰ラインから分岐して、蒸発ガスを第3減圧装置及び前記蒸発ガス熱交換器を通過させて低圧エンジンに送る第3供給ライン;を備え、
前記蒸発ガス熱交換器は、前記貯蔵タンクから排出された蒸発ガスと前記第3供給ラインに沿って供給される蒸発ガスを冷媒として、前記復帰ラインに沿って供給される蒸発ガスを熱交換して冷却し、
前記冷媒熱交換器は、前記冷媒減圧装置を通過した蒸発ガスを冷媒として、前記再循環ラインに沿って供給される蒸発ガス;及び、前記復帰ラインに沿って供給される蒸発ガス;の両方を熱交換して冷却する、船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。 - 前記蒸発ガス熱交換器の上流の前記復帰ライン上に設置されて蒸発ガスを圧縮する推進圧縮機を備える請求項11に記載の船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。
- 前記第1供給ライン上の前記圧縮機の上流に設置される第1バルブ;
前記第1供給ライン上の前記圧縮機の下流に設置される第2バルブ;
前記第2供給ライン上の前記予備圧縮機の上流に設置される第3バルブ;
前記第2供給ライン上の前記予備圧縮機の下流に設置される第4バルブ;
前記第1供給ラインから分岐した蒸発ガスを前記冷媒熱交換器に送る前記再循環ラインにおいて、前記第1供給ラインと前記第2供給ラインとの間に設置される第6バルブ;
前記冷媒熱交換器から前記第1供給ラインに蒸発ガスを送る前記再循環ライン上に設置される第9バルブ;
前記第1追加ライン上に設置される第10バルブ;及び
前記第2供給ラインと前記冷媒熱交換器との間の前記再循環ライン上に設置される第13バルブ;をさらに備える請求項11または12に記載の船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。 - 前記第1バルブ、前記第2バルブ、前記第3バルブ、前記第4バルブ、前記第10バルブ、及び前記第13バルブは開いて、前記第6バルブ及び前記第9バルブは閉じた状態でシステムを駆動し、
蒸発ガスが前記予備圧縮に供給されると、前記第3バルブを閉じて、蒸発ガスが前記予備圧縮機、前記第4バルブ、前記第13バルブ、前記冷媒熱交換器、前記冷媒減圧装置、再び前記冷媒熱交換器および前記第10バルブを循環する、閉ループの冷媒サイクルを形成することを特徴とする請求項13に記載の船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。 - 前記第1バルブ、前記第2バルブ、前記第3バルブ、前記第4バルブ、前記第6バルブ、前記第9バルブ、及び前記第13バルブは開いて、前記第10バルブは閉じて、
前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスが合流して運用されることを特徴とする、請求項13に記載の船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。 - 前記第1バルブ、前記第2バルブ、前記第3バルブ、前記第4バルブ、前記第9バルブ、及び前記第13バルブは開いて、前記第6バルブ及び前記第10バルブは閉じて、
前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスが分離されて運用されることを特徴とする請求項13に記載の船舶の蒸発ガス処理システム。 - 貯蔵タンクから第1供給ラインに沿って排出される蒸発ガスを、前記第1供給ライン上に設置された圧縮機と、前記第1供給ラインから前記圧縮機よりも上流で分岐する第2供給ライン上に前記圧縮機と並列設置された予備圧縮機との少なくとも一方で圧縮し、
前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガス及び前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスの少なくとも一方を、前記第1供給ラインに沿って高圧エンジンに送るか、前記第1供給ラインの前記圧縮機よりも上流で且つ前記第1供給ラインから前記圧縮機よりも下流で分岐する復帰ラインの下流に設置された蒸発ガス熱交換器、前記復帰ライン上で前記蒸発ガス熱交換器よりも下流に設置された冷媒熱交換器及び第1減圧装置を通過させて、再液化し、前記復帰ラインに沿って前記貯蔵タンクに戻すか(以下、「復帰蒸発ガス」という。)、前記第1供給ラインから前記圧縮機よりも下流で且つ前記復帰ラインが分岐する部分よりも上流で分岐すると共に、前記第2供給ラインの下流に連結した再循環ラインに沿って再循環させて(以下、「再循環蒸発ガス」という。)、
前記復帰蒸発ガスは、前記貯蔵タンクから前記第1供給ラインに沿って排出された蒸発ガスを、前記復帰ラインから前記蒸発ガス熱交換器よりも下流で分岐した第3供給ライン上に設置された第3減圧装置で減圧されて冷却された蒸発ガス(以下、「減圧蒸発ガス」という。)を冷媒として前記蒸発ガス熱交換器で熱交換して冷却された後、前記再循環蒸発ガスと前記冷媒熱交換器で熱交換してさらに冷却され、
前記再循環蒸発ガスは、前記再循環ライン上で前記冷媒熱交換器よりも下流に設置された冷媒減圧装置を通過して冷却及び膨張された後、前記再循環ラインに沿って前記冷媒熱交換器を通過する前記復帰蒸発ガスと熱交換する、方法。 - 前記減圧蒸発ガスは、前記第3供給ラインに沿って低圧エンジンに送られることを特徴とする請求項17に記載の方法。
- 前記圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスが前記予備圧縮機で圧縮した蒸発ガスと前記再循環ラインで合流することを特徴とする請求項17または18に記載の方法。
