Description
前記トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延びるセンター主溝と該センター主溝の外側でタイヤ周方向に延びるショルダー主溝を有し、前記センター主溝と前記ショルダー主溝との間に区画された陸部を有し、該陸部に前記ショルダー主溝からタイヤ幅方向内側に向かって延びて前記センター主溝に連通することなく終端する複数本のラグ溝を有し、各ラグ溝の終端側にタイヤ周方向の一方側に向かって屈曲した屈曲部を有し、該屈曲部が前記ラグ溝に対して段差を形成しつつ該ラグ溝よりも浅くなる底上げ部を有することを特徴とするものである。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ17×7.5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量2400ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、ウォームアップ後の空気圧(F/R)を230kPa/220kPaとし、ドライ路面において走行した際のパネラーによる官能評価を実施した。評価結果は、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほどドライ路面での操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ17×7.5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量2400ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、ウォームアップ後の空気圧(F/R)を230kPa/220kPaとし、舗装路からなるテストコースにおいて雨天条件下でラップタイムを計測した。評価結果は、計測値の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほどウエット路面での操縦安定性が優れていることを意味する。
各試験タイヤをリムサイズ17×7.5Jのホイールに組み付けて排気量2400ccの前輪駆動車に装着し、ウォームアップ後の空気圧(F/R)を230kPa/220kPaとし、テストコースにおいて10000km走行させた後、センター主溝とショルダー主溝の摩滅量を測定し、その段差量を求めた。評価結果は、段差量の逆数を用い、従来例を100とする指数にて示した。この指数値が大きいほど耐偏摩耗性が優れていることを意味する。

Claims (7)
- タイヤ周方向に延在して環状をなすトレッド部と、該トレッド部の両側に配置された一対のサイドウォール部と、これらサイドウォール部のタイヤ径方向内側に配置された一対のビード部とを備えた空気入りタイヤにおいて、
前記トレッド部にタイヤ周方向に延びるセンター主溝と該センター主溝の外側でタイヤ周方向に延びるショルダー主溝を有し、前記センター主溝と前記ショルダー主溝との間に区画された陸部を有し、該陸部に前記ショルダー主溝からタイヤ幅方向内側に向かって延びて前記センター主溝に連通することなく終端する複数本のラグ溝を有し、各ラグ溝の終端側にタイヤ周方向の一方側に向かって屈曲した屈曲部を有し、該屈曲部が前記ラグ溝に対して段差を形成しつつ該ラグ溝よりも浅くなる底上げ部を有することを特徴とする空気入りタイヤ。 - 前記屈曲部の前記底上げ部での深さDxが前記ラグ溝の深さDrに対して0.10×Dr≦Dx≦0.70×Drの関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記センター主溝がタイヤ周方向に沿ってジグザグ形状をなし、前記陸部に前記屈曲部に対して連通することなくタイヤ周方向に沿って間欠的に延在する複数本の細溝を有し、該細溝が前記ジグザグ形状を有するセンター主溝に対して実質的に平行に配置されていることを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝の深さDsが前記ジグザグ形状を有するセンター主溝の深さDcに対して0.10×Dc≦Ds≦0.50×Dcの関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項3に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記細溝と前記ジグザグ形状を有するセンター主溝とのタイヤ軸方向の間隔d1が前記陸部のタイヤ軸方向の幅d2に対して0.10×d2≦d1≦0.40×d2の関係を満足することを特徴とする請求項3又は4に記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記屈曲部を有するラグ溝のタイヤ周方向に対する傾斜角度αが25°〜75°の範囲にあることを特徴とする請求項1〜5のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
- 前記屈曲部を有する各ラグ溝が前記ショルダー主溝からタイヤ幅方向内側に向かってタイヤ周方向の他方側へ傾斜していることを特徴とする請求項1〜6のいずれかに記載の空気入りタイヤ。
