- 請求項1に記載のシステムは、前記循環される流体の温度を検出し、それを示す第1の流体温度信号を提供するための第1の流体温度センサをさらに含み、前記第1のコントローラは、前記出力信号を生成するために前記第1の流体温度信号を使用するべく提供される、システム。
- 請求項3に記載のシステムは、前記熱交換モジュールの第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液の温度を検出し、それを示す血液温度信号を提供するための血液温度センサをさらに含み、前記第1のコントローラは、前記血液ポンプの動作時に使用するための出力信号を提供するために前記血液温度信号を使用するべく提供される、システム。
- 前記第1のコントローラは、検出した患者温度を示す患者温度信号を受け取り、前記出力信号を生成するために、前記第1の流体温度信号とともに前記患者温度信号を使用するべくさらに提供される、請求項3に記載のシステム。
- 前記第1の血流ライン及び前記第2の血流ラインと互いに流体連通可能であるか、若しくは相互に連結されており、患者の血管系から前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液を受け取り、かつ前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通って流れる前記血液を前記患者の血管系へ戻すマルチルーメンカテーテルをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記マルチルーメンカテーテルは、
第1のポートおよび第2のポートを少なくとも有するカテーテル部と、
前記第1のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに前記第1の血流ラインと流体連通可能に接続されるか若しくは相互に接続されている端部を有する第1のルーメンと、
前記第2のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに前記第2の血流ラインと流体連通可能に接続されるか若しくは相互に接続されている端部を有する第2のルーメンと、を含む、請求項6に記載のシステム。 - 前記マルチルーメンカテーテルの前記カテーテル部は第3のポートをさらに含み、前記マルチルーメンカテーテルはさらに、
前記第3のポートと流体連通可能に接続されるとともに、選択的に、任意の構成要素と流体連通可能に接続される端部を有する第3のルーメンを含み、
前記任意の構成要素は、
抗凝血剤、
抗シバリング剤、
造影剤または
冷却された流体、
を含む流体の流体源を含む、請求項7に記載のシステム。 - 前記血液ポンプ、前記第1の血流ライン、前記第2の血流ライン及び前記マルチルーメンカテーテルは、50ml/分〜300ml/分の範囲内の血流の速度で前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通る血液の流れを提供するために設けられている、請求項6に記載のシステム。
- 前記システムは、前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通る血流の速度よりも少なくとも5倍速い速度で前記熱交換モジュールの前記第1のチャンバを通る流体の循環を提供することができる、請求項9に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱交換モジュールは、50ml/分〜300ml/分の血流の速度にわたって熱交換性能係数N>0.8を提供され、ここで、
であり、かつ
Tbo=熱交換モジュールから流出する血液の温度;
Tbi=熱交換モジュールに流入する血液の温度;
Tcfi=熱交換モジュールに流入する循環流体の温度
である、請求項9に記載のシステム。 - 前記第1のコントローラはさらに、複数の温度制御フェーズであって、同複数の温度制御フェーズの各々においてそれぞれ対応する循環流体の温度が制御される複数の温度制御フェーズに関連して制御データを格納するプログラム可能な制御モジュールをさらに含み、前記プログラム可能な制御モジュールは、前記制御データを使用して前記出力信号を提供するための制御ロジックを含む、請求項1に記載のシステム。
- 前記熱交換器は、前記タンク中に含まれる前記循環流体を加熱するためにさらに提供され、前記制御データは、
前記制御ロジックが使用するための冷却制御データであって、前記熱交換器に前記出力信号を供給して、前記複数の温度制御フェーズの少なくとも1つにおいて前記血液の冷却のために提供される冷却制御データと、
前記制御ロジックによる前記熱交換器への使用のための加温制御データであって、前記熱交換器に前記出力信号を供給して、前記複数の温度制御フェーズの少なくとも別の1つにおいて、前記血液の加温のために提供される加温制御データと、を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。 - 請求項12に記載のシステムは、ユーザ入力を受け取り、ユーザ制御信号を提供するためのユーザインターフェースをさらに含み、前記制御ロジックは、前記制御データとともにユーザ制御信号を使用して出力信号を提供し、前記ユーザインターフェースは、前記プログラム可能な制御モジュールにより格納されている前記制御データを変更するために使用可能である、システム。
- 前記ユーザインターフェースは、
前記格納された制御データに基づく目標患者温度調整率のプロットと、前記目標患者温度調整率の前記プロットと対応する時間関係で、検出された患者温度のプロットと、を視覚的に提示するグラフィックディスプレイを含む、請求項14に記載のシステム。 - 前記グラフィックディスプレイは、前記循環流体の検出温度と前記熱交換モジュールの前記第2のチャンバを通って流れる血液の検出温度とのプロットを、前記目標患者温度調整率のプロットと対応する時間関係で表示するように動作可能である、請求項15に記載のシステム。
- 前記プログラム可能な制御モジュールは、対応する異なる制御データを含む少なくとも2つのプロトコルを格納するように動作可能であり、前記ユーザインターフェースは、前記ユーザ制御信号を生成する際に前記プログラム可能な制御モジュールによって使用される前記2つのプロトコルのうちのいずれかを選択するためにユーザによって使用可能である、請求項14に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の温度制御フェーズの第1のフェーズのための前記制御データは、目標患者温度及び目標血液温度のうちの少なくとも一方を含み、かつ前記複数の温度制御フェーズの第2のフェーズのための前記制御データは、持続時間測定値と、目標患者温度及び目標血液温度のうちの少なくとも一方と、を含む、請求項12に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の温度制御フェーズの前記第1のフェーズのための前記制御データは、持続時間測定値をさらに含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。
- 前記複数の温度制御フェーズの第3のフェーズのための前記制御データは、目標患者温度及び目標血液温度のうちの少なくとも一方を含む、請求項18に記載のシステム。
