前記ケース本体に設けられた前記開口部の周縁部分と前記封口部材とは、シール溶接に
よって互いに接合されており、
前記平坦面の端辺のうち少なくとも一辺部分には、前記ケース内部に向かって窪んだ凹
部と該平坦面と同一平面となる凸部とからなる凹凸が形成されており、
前記凹部の前記ケース外部側の底面に前記電極端子が配置されており、
前記凹部は、前記底面に配置された電極端子の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、密閉型電池。 - 前記底面に電極端子が配置された凹部とは異なる別の凹部が前記一辺部分に形成されており、該別の凹部の前記ケース外部側の底面には、該ケース内で発生したガスを排出するガス排出弁が配置されており、
該別の凹部は、前記底面に配置されたガス排出弁の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、請求項1に記載の密閉型電池。 - 前記底面に電極端子が配置された凹部とは異なる別の凹部が前記一辺部分に形成されており、該別の凹部の前記ケース外部側の底面には、前記電解液の注液孔を塞ぐ注液栓が配置されており、
該別の凹部は、前記底面に配置された注液栓の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、請求項1または2に記載の密閉型電池。 - 複数の充放電可能な単電池が直列に接続されて構成された組電池であって、
正極および負極を備える電極体と、該電極体および電解液を収容する角型のケースと、
該電極体と電気的に接続され、該ケースの外部に引き出された電極端子とを備える密閉型
の単電池を複数備えており、
前記角型のケースは、開口部を有する凹状のケース本体と、該ケース本体の開口部を覆
うように取り付けられた封口部材とを備えており、
前記複数の単電池は、該単電池それぞれが備える前記ケースにおいて前記ケース本体と
前記封口部材とが重ね合わされる方向に配列され且つ該配列方向に荷重が加えられた状態
で拘束されており、
前記ケース本体は、隣接する単電池ケースの互いに対向する面であって前記拘束時に荷
重を受ける平坦面と、前記電極体の周りを囲むように該平坦面から立ち上がった側壁とを
有しており、
前記ケース本体に設けられた前記開口部の周縁部分と前記封口部材とは、シール溶接に
よって互いに接合されており、
前記平坦面の端辺のうち少なくとも一辺部分には、前記拘束時に隣接する単電池ケース
に押し付けられる押圧凸部と該拘束時に該単電池ケースに接触しない非接触凹部とからな
る凹凸が形成されており、
前記非接触凹部の前記単電池ケース外部側の底面に前記電極端子が配置されており、
前記非接触凹部は、前記底面に配置された電極端子の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記単電池ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、組電池。 - 前記底面に電極端子が配置された非接触凹部とは異なる別の非接触凹部が前記一辺部分に形成されており、該別の非接触凹部の前記単電池ケース外部側の底面には、該単電池ケース内で発生したガスを排出するガス排出弁が配置されており、
該別の非接触凹部は、前記底面に配置されたガス排出弁の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記単電池ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、請求項4に記載の組電池。 - 前記底面に電極端子が配置された非接触凹部とは異なる別の非接触凹部が前記一辺部分に形成されており、該別の非接触凹部の前記単電池ケース外部側の底面には、前記電解液の注液孔を塞ぐ注液栓が配置されており、
該別の非接触凹部は、前記底面に配置された注液栓の三方を囲むように該底面から前記平坦面まで立ち上がった3つの内壁と、該内壁が形成されずに前記単電池ケースの外方に向けて開口した開口部とを有している、請求項4または5に記載の組電池。
