Description
本発明は、上記実施形態に限定されず、例えば以下のように実施してもよい。なお、以下では、各実施形態で互いに同一又は均等である部分には同一符号を付しており、同一符号の部分についてはその説明を援用する。
Claims (9)
- 回転軸(25)を回転させるモータ(11)と、前記回転軸の軸方向に移動可能に取り付けられたピニオンギヤ(50)と、前記ピニオンギヤを前記軸方向において前記回転軸の先端側に押し出す押出部材(13a)と、を備え、前記押出部材により前記ピニオンギヤを押し出して内燃機関のリングギヤ(1)とかみ合わせ、前記モータの駆動力により前記ピニオンギヤを回転させることにより、前記内燃機関を始動させる始動装置(10)において、
前記ピニオンギヤと前記モータとの間に配置され、収縮により、前記回転軸に対する前記ピニオンギヤのモータ側への相対移動を許容する第1弾性部材(30)と、
前記ピニオンギヤと前記第1弾性部材との間に配置された第2弾性部材(40)と、
所定の初期荷重を付与した状態で内部に前記第1弾性部材を保持し、当該第1弾性部材の伸縮状態に応じて前記軸方向に変位可能な保持部材(31)と、を備え、
前記保持部材は、前記第2弾性部材に対して前記軸方向で当接される当接部(32a)を有し、
前記当接部は、前記第1弾性部材の伸張による前記ピニオンギヤ側への移動が規制される一方で、前記第1弾性部材の収縮による前記モータ側への移動が許容されるようになっている始動装置。 - 前記保持部材は、前記第1弾性部材の両端のうち前記ピニオンギヤの側の端部から前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける第1受け部(32a)と、前記モータの側の端部から前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける第2受け部(32b)とを有し、
前記第2受け部に当接するように設けられ、前記リングギヤからの反力を受けていない状態での初期位置から前記第2受け部が前記ピニオンギヤの側に移動することを規制する規制部(34,64)を備え、その規制部の規制により、前記ピニオンギヤ側への前記当接部の移動が規制されている請求項1に記載の始動装置。 - 前記第1弾性部材は、前記回転軸の外周に巻回された状態で配置されるコイルバネであり、
前記規制部は、前記回転軸の外周に突出させて設けられた突出部(34)であり、
前記第2受け部は、前記突出部を挟んで前記第1弾性部材とは逆側に設けられている請求項2に記載の始動装置。 - 前記第2受け部は、前記第1弾性部材の収縮に伴い前記規制部からの離間が可能であり、その離間により、前記モータ側への前記当接部の移動が許容されている請求項2又は3に記載の始動装置。
- 前記回転軸において前記第1弾性部材よりも前記モータの側には、周方向の少なくとも1カ所に、前記回転軸に対して起立させた状態で前記規制部(64)が設けられており、
前記回転軸の周方向において前記規制部の起立面と起立面との間の空き部分は、前記回転軸に対する前記保持部材の組み付け時に、前記第2受け部を、前記回転軸において前記規制部よりも前記モータの側に配置可能とする隙間であり、
前記第2受け部は、前記規制部よりも前記モータの側に配置され、前記規制部を介在させた状態で前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける構成となっている請求項2〜4のうちいずれか1項に記載の始動装置。 - 前記保持部材は、前記リングギヤからの反力を受けていない初期状態で、前記第1弾性部材の両端のうち前記ピニオンギヤの側の端部から前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける第1受け部(32a)と、前記モータの側の端部から前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける第2受け部(32b)とを有し、当該初期状態では、前記第1受け部と前記第2受け部とによって前記第1弾性部材を挟持して前記第1弾性部材の伸張を規制することにより、前記第1弾性部材が伸張することによって前記当接部が前記ピニオンギヤ側へ移動することが規制され、
前記回転軸において前記第1弾性部材よりも前記モータの側には、周方向の少なくとも1カ所に突出させた状態で突出部(60,62,63)が設けられており、
前記第2受け部は、前記回転軸において前記突出部よりも前記モータの側に移動可能であり、前記第2受け部が前記突出部よりも前記モータの側に移動した状態では、前記突出部により前記第1弾性部材の弾性力を受ける構成となっている請求項1に記載の始動装置。 - 前記第2弾性部材は、前記ピニオンギヤと前記当接部との間において前記リングギヤからの反力により潰れ変形することで衝撃を吸収する緩衝部材であり、
前記ピニオンギヤと前記当接部との間には、前記第2弾性部材が潰れ変形する際にその変形部分が入り込む空間部(42,72,73)が設けられている請求項1〜6のうちいずれか1項に記載の始動装置。 - 前記第2弾性部材は、前記ピニオンギヤと前記当接部との間において前記リングギヤからの反力により潰れ変形することで衝撃を吸収する緩衝部材であり、
前記ピニオンギヤと前記当接部との間には、前記リングギヤからの反力により前記第2弾性部材が一定以上潰れ変形することを制限する制限部(50a,31a)が設けられている請求項1〜7のうちいずれか1項に記載の始動装置。 - 前記第2弾性部材が発揮する初期弾性力は、前記第1弾性部材が発揮する初期弾性力よりも小さい請求項1〜8のうちいずれか1項に記載の始動装置。
