Claims (5)
- 熱間鍛造による丸棒状の合金塊の製造方法であって、
丸棒状の一次合金塊の一端側を保持しながら柱状鋳型内部に宙吊りし、保熱用金属からなる溶湯を前記柱状鋳型に注湯し前記一次合金塊の全周囲に保熱用金属被覆を与え、前記柱状鋳型から取り出した後、端部の前記保熱用金属被覆を与えられた被覆部分を把持部として片持ち支持しながら熱間で一方向鍛造した後に、前記保熱用金属被覆を除去することを特徴とする合金塊の製造方法。 - 前記柱状鋳型から取り出した後、前記被覆部分を鍛伸して径を減じて箸口を形成し、前記箸口をリング状ダイスの中心孔に挿入して据え込み鍛造により前記一次合金塊を軸方向に圧縮することを特徴とする請求項1記載の合金塊の製造方法。
- 前記一次合金塊は時効硬化型合金からなり、前記熱間鍛造を少なくとも850℃以上で行うことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の合金塊の製造方法。
- 前記保熱用金属はステンレス鋼からなることを特徴とする請求項3記載の合金塊の製造方法。
- 前記保熱用金属被覆の外径を前記一次合金塊の外径の1.3倍以下とすることを特徴とする請求項4記載の合金塊の製造方法。
