Description
(i)先に規定される装置に装着される管状医療器具を用意するステップであって、長尺要素が少なくとも部分的に医療器具の孔の内側にあり、少なくとも1つのアームが医療器具と係合され、医療器具が折り畳み形態で拘束されるように供給シース内へ挿入される、ステップと、
(ii)医療器具を動脈瘤の場所に位置決めするステップと、
(iii)医療器具の少なくとも一部が開放形態へと移動できるようにするために前記供給シースを少なくとも部分的に除去し、それにより、前記少なくとも1つのアームの第1の位置から第2の位置への動きが制御されて、医療器具の展開が制御される、ステップと、
(iv)必要に応じて、柔軟要素のうちの少なくとも1つに張力を掛けることにより、少なくとも1つのアームを第2の位置から第1の位置へと戻して、医療器具の展開を少なくとも部分的に逆にするステップと、
(v)医療器具を別の場所付近に再配置するステップと、
(vi)満足できる位置が達成されるまでステップiii,iv,vを繰り返すステップと、
(vii)少なくとも1つのアームからの医療器具の取り外しを含めて、医療器具の展開を完了するステップと、
を備える方法が提供される。
(ii)ステントグラフトが適切な固定およびシールを得ることができる部位が鋭く角度付けられる動脈内にステントグラフトを配置するとき。
(iii)谷、切り欠き、開窓、または、側枝などのステントグラフトの表面上の特定の特徴が、これらの特徴を患者の生体構造内の血管枝などの対応する特徴と位置合わせするために正確な制御を必要とする場合。
(iv)硬質化要素が導入される前に柔軟チューブ要素が配置される段階でステントグラフトを配置するときに、アームを使用して前記チューブを開放できる。そのような開放手段がなければ、血流は、柔軟チューブを強制的に折り畳み、あるいは、自己拡張要素が前記チューブに予め取り付けられることを要する。

Claims (5)
- 体内で管状の医療器具を展開するための装置において、
前記医療器具の孔内を通るための長尺要素と、
前記長尺要素の外周と密接する筒状ステムと、この筒状ステムと接合されており、前記医療器具と係合するための2以上のアームとを有する展開器具と、
前記医療器具の壁に対して前記アームを取り外し可能に取り付けるための手段と、を有し、
各アームが、前記長尺要素に沿って延び、
各アームの遠位端は、前記長尺要素に隣接する第1の位置から、前記長尺要素から径方向に離間される第2の位置へと前記長尺要素の長手方向軸に対して径方向に移動でき、
前記長尺要素に面する内側面を有し、前記内側面は凹状で、それにより前記アームの遠位端が前記第1の位置にある時、前記長尺要素は、前記内側面内で受け取られ、さらに、
前記アームの遠位端が前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置へ弾性的に付勢されており、
使用時に、各アームの前記第1の位置から前記第2の位置への動きが前記医療器具の径方向の展開を可能にし、
各アームの内側面の反対側に外側面を有し、前記アームの外側面が前記筒状ステムの外側面から連続的に延びており、それにより、前記筒状ステムと前記アーム間は連結しており、
前記筒状ステムが、形状記憶合金から形成される少なくとも1つのタブを有し、このタブが前記長尺要素に形成されたスロットに係合して位置決めされるようになっている、
