Description
本実施形態に係る電池パック冷却システムは、電池パック10、冷却ファン18、吸気流路20、ファンモータ16、ファン用インバータ14、及び制御部22を備える。電池パック冷却システムのうち、少なくとも制御部22を除く各構成は、例えば図2に示すように、車両の後部座席23下に配置される。
Claims (1)
- 車室内の空気を取り込んで電池パックに送り込む冷却ファンと、
前記車室内の空気の取り込み口から前記冷却ファンを経て前記電池パックに至るまでの吸気流路に設けられた吸気温度センサと、
車両速度に応じて定められる前記冷却ファンの最大許容回転数以下の範囲で、前記電池パックの温度に応じて前記冷却ファンの回転数を変化させる可変制御を行う冷却ファン制御部と、
前記冷却ファンの起動時から起算して、前記冷却ファンの回転数に基づいた前記冷却ファンの風量を積算して、前記冷却ファンによる送出空気体積を求める風量積算部と、
前記送出空気体積が、前記吸気流路における前記空気の取り込み口から前記吸気温度センサに至るまでの体積以上になったときに前記吸気温度センサから吸気温度を取得し、前記吸気温度が前記電池パックの温度以上であるときに前記冷却ファン制御部に対して前記冷却ファンの駆動停止指令を出力する、冷却ファン駆動判定部と、
を備えることを特徴とする、車載電池パック冷却システム。
