- 自動車のボディに取り付けられたボディ側発光部と、前記ボディに対して回転自在に設けられたドアに取り付けられたドア側受光部と、を備え、前記ボディ側発光部−前記ドア側受光部間で通信を行う車両用通信システムにおいて、
θ1=前記ドアの全閉位置にあるドア側受光部及び前記ボディ側発光部を結ぶ第1の直線と、前記ドアの全開位置にあるドア側受光部及び前記ボディ側発光部を結ぶ第2の直線と、のなす角度としたとき、
前記ボディ側発光部の最大発光角度が、(θ1/2)以上になるように設けられ、
前記ボディ側発光部の光軸が、前記ドアの全開位置と、前記ドアの全閉位置と、の中央位置にあるドア側受光部に向かうように配置された
ことを特徴とする車両用通信システム。 - 前記ボディ側発光部は、ボディ側発光素子と、光学部材と、から構成され、前記光学部材が前記ボディ側発光素子から照射される光を屈折して、前記ボディ側発光部の最大発光角が前記(θ1/2)に近づくようにしている
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両用通信システム。
