Description
上述の実施形態に係る発泡壁紙と同様の構成の発泡前の壁紙を準備した。発泡前壁紙の発泡樹脂層は、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂を用いて形成した。発泡前壁紙の印刷インキ層に用いられる水性インキは、シリカ化合物でコーティングし、粒子径5〜10μmのノンリーフィングタイプの鱗片状のアルミ粉末を顔料として使用し、水分散型樹脂(水性エマルジョン樹脂)をバインダとして使用した。アルミ粉末は、1個の粒子に対して2カ所以上の長さを測定し、その平均値を粒子径(平均粒子径)とした。この発泡前壁紙を上述した方法で発泡させ、発泡後の表面の輝度感、隠蔽性(隠蔽率)、密着性、摩擦色落ち度及び耐薬性を評価した。評価は、下記の評価基準に基づいて行った。
耐薬性の評価基準としては、色艶等の変化が確認できないものを「5」とし、色の変化はないが艶の変化が確認できるものを「4」とし、色の変化が確認できるものを「3」とし、若干下地の色が確認できるものを「2」とし、下地の色が確認できるものを「1」とした。
上述の実施形態に係る発泡壁紙と同様の構成の発泡前の壁紙を準備した。発泡前壁紙の発泡樹脂層は、ポリ塩化ビニル樹脂を用いて形成した。発泡前壁紙の印刷層に用いられる水性インキは、リン酸エステルでコーティングされ、粒子径が5〜15μmのリーフィングタイプの鱗片状のアルミ粉末を顔料として使用し、水分散型樹脂(水性エマルジョン樹脂)をバインダとして使用した。アルミ粉末は、1個の粒子に対して2カ所以上の長さを測定し、その平均値を粒子径とした。

表1に示すように、シリカ化合物でコーティングしたノンリーフィングタイプのアルミを顔料とした水分散型樹脂を使用した水性バインダで印刷インキ層を形成した発泡壁紙は、密着性及び摩擦色落ち度を低下させることなく、輝度感及び隠蔽性が向上していることが分かる。また、実施例1の発泡壁紙はリーフィングタイプアルミを顔料として使用した水性インキを用いた発泡壁紙よりも密着性及び摩擦色落ち性が高いことが分かる。また、実施例1の発泡壁紙は、粒子径の粗い(20〜30μm)のアルミ粉末を顔料として使用した水性インキを用いた発泡壁紙よりも隠蔽性が高いことが分かる。また、実施例1の発泡壁紙は、リン酸エステルでコーティングしたアルミを顔料として使用した水性インキを用いた発泡壁紙よりも隠蔽性及び密着性が高いことが分かる。また、実施例1の発泡壁紙は、水溶解性樹脂をバインダとして使用した水性インキを用いた発泡壁紙よりも密着性が高い及び耐薬性が高いことが分かる。

Claims (4)
- 基材層と、該基材層に積層される発泡樹脂層と、該発泡樹脂層に積層される印刷層と、を備える発泡壁紙であって、
シリカ化合物でコーティングされ、且つ平均粒子径が5〜10μmのノンリーフィングタイプのアルミ粉末を顔料とし、水分散型樹脂をバインダとする水性インキを前記発泡樹脂層に塗布して印刷層を形成し、該印刷層が形成された発泡樹脂層を加熱発泡させることで、前記印刷層の表面に凹凸を形成させて該印刷層の表面に位置する前記アルミ粉末を乱反射させる、
ことを特徴とする発泡壁紙。 - 前記水性インキには、前記アルミ粉末と前記バインダとの濡れ性を向上させる分散剤が添加されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発泡壁紙。 - 前記印刷層に表面処理層が積層されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の発泡壁紙。 - 前記印刷層又は前記表面処理層にエンボス加工が施されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から3の何れか1項に記載の発泡壁紙。
