Claims (18)
- 節領域および腹領域を有し、節領域において受けられる超音波を第1の方向に沿って伝搬するように構成される、本体と、
前記本体に形成された複数の方向変更特徴部であって、前記第1の方向に沿って伝搬する受けられた超音波を、方向変更特徴部のうちの1つまたは複数と衝突したとき前記第1の方向に対して垂直な第2の方向に沿って伝搬させるように構成される、方向変更特徴部と、を備え、
前記本体が、前記第2の方向に沿って伝搬する対応する前記波の山および谷に基づいて、前記第2の方向に沿って伸張および圧縮するようにさらに構成され、
前記伸張および圧縮に基づいて発振するように構成される、前記本体の腹領域にある少なくとも1つの超音波溶接表面を備え、
前記本体が、細長い構造の長い側に沿って腹領域をおよび短い側に沿って節領域を有する、前記細長い構造を備え、
前記ソノトロードの対向する両端部が前記節領域を備え、前記対向する両端部の少なくとも一方が前記超音波を受けるように構成される、
超音波ソノトロード。 - 前記方向変更特徴部が、前記本体を通して形成され前記第2の方向に沿って延在する細長いスロットを備える、請求項1に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記細長いスロットが、前記本体にわたって実質的に等しく離間される、請求項2に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記細長いスロットが、各スロット長さに沿って実質的に等しい幅を各々備える、請求項2に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記細長いスロットが様々な長さを備える、請求項2に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記本体の前記端部に近い方の細長いスロットの長さが、前記本体の前記端部から遠い方の細長いスロットの長さよりも大きい、請求項5に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記本体の厚さが、前記第1の方向に沿って延在する前記本体の中心部分から、前記第2の方向に沿って前記本体の縁部まで、先細とされる、請求項1に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記本体の前記縁部が、自体の長さに沿って実質的に均一な厚さを有する前記本体の腹領域を各々備え、前記腹領域のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記少なくとも1つの溶接表面を備える、請求項7に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 前記本体の前記中心部分が、前記第1の方向に沿って均一な厚さを備え、前記先細りが、均一な厚さの前記中心部分から前記縁部まで延在する、請求項7に記載の超音波ソノトロード。
- 節領域および腹領域を有する本体を形成するステップであって、前記本体が、節領域において受けられた超音波を第1の方向に沿って伝搬するように構成され、かつ腹領域において少なくとも1つの超音波溶接表面を備える、形成するステップと、
前記本体に複数の方向変更特徴部を形成するステップであって、前記方向変更特徴部が、前記第1の方向に沿って伝搬する受けられた超音波を、前記方向変更特徴部のうちの1つまたは複数と衝突したとき前記第1の方向に対して垂直な第2の方向に沿って伝搬させるように構成される、形成するステップと、を含み、
前記本体が、前記第2の方向に沿って伝搬する対応する前記波の山および谷に基づいて前記第2の方向に沿って伸張および圧縮し、このことにより、前記伸張および圧縮に基づいて前記少なくとも1つの溶接表面を発振させるようにさらに構成される、
前記本体を形成するステップが、細長い構造の長い側に沿って腹領域をおよび短い側に沿って節領域を有する、前記細長い構造を形成するステップをさらに含み、
前記本体を形成するステップが、前記本体の対向する両端部を前記節領域として形成するステップをさらに含み、前記対向する両端部の少なくとも一方が、前記超音波を受けるように構成される、
超音波ソノトロードを製造する方法。 - 複数の方向変更特徴部を形成するステップが、前記本体を通り前記第2の方向に沿って延在する細長いスロットを形成するステップを含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記細長いスロットを形成するステップが、前記細長いスロットを前記本体にわたって実質的に等しく離間して形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記細長いスロットを形成するステップが、各スロット長さに沿って実質的に等しい幅を有する前記細長いスロットを形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記細長いスロットを形成するステップが、前記細長いスロットを様々な長さに形成するステップをさらに含む、請求項11に記載の方法。
- 前記本体の前記端部に近い方の細長いスロットの長さが、前記本体の前記端部から遠い方の細長いスロットの長さよりも大きい、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記本体を形成するステップが、前記本体の厚さを、前記第1の方向に沿って延在する前記本体の中心部分から、前記第2の方向に沿って前記本体の縁部まで、先細とするステップをさらに含む、請求項10に記載の方法。
- 前記本体を形成するステップが、前記本体の縁部を、自体の長さに沿って実質的に均一な厚さを有する腹領域として形成するステップをさらに含み、前記腹領域のうちの少なくとも1つが、前記少なくとも1つの溶接表面を備える、請求項16に記載の方法。
- 前記本体を形成するステップが、前記中心部分を前記第1の方向に沿って均一な厚さで形成するステップをさらに含み、前記先細りが、均一な厚さの前記中心部分から前記縁部まで延在する、請求項16に記載の方法。
