Claims (6)
- 外側継手部材と、内側継手部材と、外側継手部材と内側継手部材との間に介在されるトルク伝達部材とを備え、外側継手部材の開口部がブーツにて密封され、ブーツは、外側継手部材の開口部側の外径面に形成されたブーツ装着部に装着される大径の取付部と、内側継手部材に嵌入されるシャフトにおけるブーツ装着部に装着される小径の取付部と、大径の取付部と小径の取付部とを連結する屈曲部とからなり、大径の取付部が外側継手部材のブーツ装着部に外嵌された状態で締結バンドにて締め付けられて固定されるとともに、小径の取付部がシャフトのブーツ装着部に外嵌された状態で締結バンドにて締め付けられて固定される等速自在継手であって、
大径の取付部の外周面に締結バンドが嵌合する周方向バンド溝を形成するとともに、大径の取付部の内周面のブーツ外部側端部に凸部を形成し、外側継手部材の円筒面であるブーツ装着部に大径の取付部の凸部が嵌合する凹部を形成するとともに、凹部におけるブーツ内部側の近傍に突起を設けるとともに、この突起は、外側継手部材のブーツ装着部に1個だけであることを特徴とする等速自在継手。 - 外側継手部材と、内側継手部材と、外側継手部材と内側継手部材との間に介在されるトルク伝達部材とを備え、外側継手部材の開口部がブーツにて密封され、ブーツは、外側継手部材の開口部側の外径面に形成されたブーツ装着部に装着される大径の取付部と、内側継手部材に嵌入されるシャフトにおけるブーツ装着部に装着される小径の取付部と、大径の取付部と小径の取付部とを連結する屈曲部とからなり、大径の取付部が外側継手部材のブーツ装着部に外嵌された状態で締結バンドにて締め付けられて固定されるとともに、小径の取付部がシャフトのブーツ装着部に外嵌された状態で締結バンドにて締め付けられて固定される等速自在継手であって、
小径の取付部の外周面に締結バンドが嵌合する周方向バンド溝を形成するとともに、小径の取付部の内周面のブーツ外部側端部に凸部を形成し、シャフトの円筒面であるブーツ装着部に小径の取付部の凸部が嵌合する凹部を形成するとともに、凹部におけるブーツ内部側の近傍に突起を設けるとともに、この突起は、シャフトのブーツ装着部に1個だけであることを特徴とする等速自在継手。 - 突起は周方向バンド溝に対向するとともに、周方向バンド溝の幅方向中心部よりもブーツ外部側に位置させたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の等速自在継手。
- ブーツの凸部の高さ寸法を、凸部が嵌合する凹部に密接乃至接触する寸法と設定するとともに、ブーツ装着部の円筒面に対して、そのブーツ装着部に装着されるブーツの取付部の円筒面は締め代を持って嵌着され、締結バンドの締め付けによって、ブーツ装着部の突起が、ブーツの円筒面形状の取付部に内径側から食い込んで、円筒面のブーツ装着部とブーツの円筒面形状の取付部とが密着固定されることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手。
- ブーツ装着部の突起の高さを、そのブーツ装着部に装着される取付部の肉厚の10%以上35%以下とし、かつ、突起の幅寸法をバンド溝の幅寸法の10%以下とし、ブーツ装着部の円筒面とブーツの取付部の円筒面との密着固定部の軸方向長さをバンド溝の幅寸法の65%以上としたことを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手。
- ブーツ材質が、JIS K6253に規定されるタイプDデュロメータによる硬さが35以上55以下である熱可塑性ポリエステル系エラストマーからなることを特徴とする請求項1〜請求項5のいずれか1項に記載の等速自在継手。
