Claims (15)
- 表面水を用いて流体を冷却する冷却装置であって、
− その内部で流体を収容し且つ移動させる1つよりも多くのチューブであって、チューブを冷却し、それにより、前記流体も冷却するよう、チューブの外部は、作動中に前記表面水中に少なくとも部分的に浸水させられる、チューブと、
− 前記浸水させられる外部の少なくとも部分でのファウリングを妨げる光をもたらす少なくとも1つの光源と、
− ファウリング防止光を前記浸水させられる外部に向かって誘導する少なくとも1つの光学ユニットとを含む、
冷却装置。 - 前記光学ユニットは、2つの隣接するチューブの間に少なくとも部分的に位置する、請求項1に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学ユニットは、少なくとも1つの光学媒体を含み、前記光源によって生成される前記光は、前記少なくとも1つの光学媒体を通じて進む、請求項1又は2に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、ガス及び/又は清浄水で充填された空間、例えば、通路を含み、前記空間は、前記空間を通じて、前記ファウリング防止光の少なくとも部分を誘導する、請求項3に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、前記光源によって発せられる前記ファウリング防止光の少なくとも部分を前記チューブの外部に対して実質的に垂直な成分を有する1つ又はそれよりも多くの方向に分散させるために前記光源の前に配置される、光スプレッダである、請求項3又は4に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、光ガイドである、請求項3又は4に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、前記少なくとも1つの光源から前記ファウリング防止光を取り込む光取込み表面と、前記チューブの外部に向かう方向に前記ファウリング防止光を取り出す光取出し表面とを有する、請求項6に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記ファウリング防止光の少なくとも部分が、前記光取出し表面で取り出される前に、前記チューブの外部と実質的に平行な方向に全反射を介して前記光ガイドを通じて伝搬させられるよう、前記光学媒体は、前記表面水の屈折率よりも高い屈折率を備える誘導材料を有する、請求項6又は7に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、ガラス、ガラス繊維、シリコーン、ポリメタクリル酸メチルのような透明プラスチックのいずれかで作られる、請求項2乃至8のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学媒体は、前記光源から前記チューブに向かって延びるロッドの形態にある、請求項1乃至9のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記光学ユニットは、前記光源がファウリングを妨げる前記チューブの外部から離れる方向への光波の伝搬を制限し且つ前記光源がファウリングを妨げる前記チューブの外部に向かって光を反射する、反射器を含む、請求項1乃至10のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置。
- 各チューブ層が、U形状のチューブを形成するために2つの直線チューブ部分と1つの半円形部分とを有する複数のヘアピン型のチューブを含むように、チューブ束が、その幅に沿って平行に配置されるチューブ層を含み、前記チューブは、U形状のチューブ部分が同心状に構成され且つ直線チューブ部分が平行に構成された状態で配置されることで、最内側のU形状のチューブ部分は、比較的小さな半径を有し、最外側のU形状のチューブ部分は、比較的大きな半径を有し、残余の中間のU形状のチューブ部分は、それらの間に配置される進行的に漸増する曲率半径を有する、請求項1乃至11のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置。
- 前記チューブは、光反射被膜で少なくとも部分的に被覆される、請求項1乃至12のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置。
- 船舶であって、当該船舶のエンジンの冷却のために請求項1乃至13のうちのいずれか1項に記載の冷却装置を含む、船舶。
- 前記冷却装置は、当該船舶の船殻及び隔壁板によって定められる閉塞的なボックス内に配置されることで、海水がボックス容積に自由に入り、前記冷却装置の上を流れ、自然流を介して出ることができるよう、入口開口及び出口開口が前記船殻に設けられ、前記冷却装置が配置される前記ボックスの内表面は、光反射被膜で少なくとも部分的に被覆される、請求項14に記載の船舶。
