Claims (14)
- 近位端に電気コネクタが配置されており、前記電気コネクタがRFエネルギー源に接続可能である制御ハンドルと;
近位端と遠位端とを有し、流体ルーメンを画定し、前記遠位端の近位に1つ以上の穿孔を有し、前記制御ハンドルに接続可能であるカテーテルシースと;
前記カテーテルシースの前記流体ルーメンに挿入され、取り付け点で前記制御ハンドルに接続される導電材料製の細長い形状付与要素であって、前記カテーテルシースの遠位端に所望の形状を付与するように構成された形状付与要素と;
前記形状付与要素を前記電気コネクタおよび前記RFエネルギー源に電気的に接続するための前記電気コネクタから前記取り付け点まで延びる電気導体とを備え、前記形状付与要素が、前記RFエネルギー源からのRFエネルギーを流体に印加する電極の役割も果たすことを特徴とする、アブレーションカテーテル。 - 請求項1に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記形状付与要素を前記制御ハンドルに着脱自在に接続するための連結機構を備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項2に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記電気導体を前記連結機構に接続するための固定具を備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースの前記流体ルーメンと密封接続する流体チューブを備え、前記流体チューブがカテーテルシースコネクタから前記制御ハンドルおよび前記制御ハンドルの近位端を通り、流体を前記カテーテルシースの前記流体ルーメンに供給するための流体コネクタまで延びることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至3の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースが、前記カテーテルシースを前記制御ハンドルに接続するためのカテーテルシースコネクタを備え、前記カテーテルシースが前記カテーテルシースコネクタおよび前記制御ハンドルを通り前記制御ハンドルの前記近位端まで延び、流体コネクタに接続していることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至5の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースがシースコネクタを介して前記制御ハンドルに着脱自在に接続可能であることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至6の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記形状付与要素が前記制御ハンドルに着脱自在に取り付けられていることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至7の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースが、前記シースの壁内に埋め込まれた導体を備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項1乃至8の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースが、少なくとも1つの検出電極を備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項9に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースを前記制御ハンドルに接続するためのカテーテルシースコネクタを備え、前記カテーテルシースコネクタが、導体を前記検出電極から監視デバイスに接続するための電気シースコネクタを備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項10に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルを前記監視デバイスに接続できるように前記電気シースコネクタを前記電気コネクタに電気的に接続するために前記制御ハンドルを通って延びる電気コネクタ要素を備えることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項9乃至11の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記検出電極が、前記1つ以上の穿孔に隣接して位置決めされていることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
- 請求項8乃至11の何れか1項に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記カテーテルシースが、
内側非導電性管状部材と;
螺旋状に巻着された複数の導体が壁内に埋め込まれている外層と;
を備える、螺旋状に巻回されたケーブルで形成されていることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。 - 請求項13に記載のアブレーションカテーテルにおいて、前記内側非導電性管状部材の遠位部が露出するように、壁内に前記導体が埋め込まれている前記外層の遠位部が除去され、前記穿孔が前記内側非導電性管状部材の露出部分に形成されていることを特徴とするアブレーションカテーテル。
