Description
・上記実施形態では、探査波として超音波を用いるものを例示したが、超音波以外の波、例えば、音波、電波等を探査波として用いることもできる。すなわち、所定の振幅をもって振動する波を探査波として用いるものであればよい。
Claims (1)
- 各々異なるタイミングで、第1位置から第1探査波を送信するとともに、前記第1位置とは異なり且つ検知範囲の一部が重複する第2位置から第2探査波を送信し、1又は複数の物体により反射された反射波を前記物体の検知情報として受信することで、周囲に存在する物体(50)を検知する物体検知装置(20)であって、
前記第1探査波の送信に際して、前記第1位置で受信した複数の前記反射波を第1直接波群として取得するとともに、前記第2位置で受信した複数の前記反射波を第1間接波群として取得する第1取得手段と、
前記第2探査波の送信に際して、前記第1位置で受信した複数の前記反射波を第2間接波群として取得するとともに、前記第2位置で受信した複数の前記反射波を第2直接波群として取得する第2取得手段と、
前記第1取得手段により取得した前記第1直接波群と前記第1間接波群とにおける直接波及び間接波の組み合わせにより、前記物体の位置を算出する第1算出手段と、
前記第2取得手段により取得した前記第2直接波群と前記第2間接波群とにおける直接波及び間接波の組み合わせにより、前記物体の位置を算出する第2算出手段と、
前記第1算出手段と前記第2算出手段との両方により位置が算出されたか、いずれか一方により位置が算出されたかに応じて、前記物体が実在するか否かを判定する判定手段と、
を備え、
前記判定手段は、
前記両方により同じ位置が算出された場合には、前記物体が存在すると判定し、
前記いずれか一方により複数の物体の位置が算出された場合において当該一方が前記第1算出手段である場合には、前記第1直接波群又は前記第1間接波群における各反射波の受信時刻に基づき算出された前記複数の物体の検知距離を相互に比較し、その検知距離の差が所定の閾値よりも大きい場合に、前記第1算出手段で位置を算出した前記物体が実在すると判定し、
前記いずれか一方により複数の物体の位置が算出された場合において当該一方が前記第2算出手段である場合には、前記第2直接波群又は前記第2間接波群における各反射波の受信時刻に基づき算出された前記複数の物体の検知距離を相互に比較し、その検知距離の差が所定の閾値よりも大きい場合に、前記第2算出手段で位置を算出した前記物体が実在すると判定することを特徴とする物体検知装置。
