Description
以下の第1表に説明される例1および例2は、本開示にしたがって形成された接着剤である。前記例の成分それぞれは、相応の接着剤の総質量を基準として質量%で示される。下記表中の記号「−」は、個々の成分が使用されなかったか、または個々の特性が記録もしくは測定されなかったことを意味する。
Claims (14)
- 室温で固体のホットメルト接着剤であって、以下:
20〜50質量%のNCO含量を有するイソシアネート成分5〜25質量%
ポリエステル75〜85質量%;および
40〜50のOH価を有するヒドロキシポリマー1〜10質量%
の反応生成物を含み、
前記ヒドロキシポリマーが、少なくとも1つのスチレンモノマー、少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマー、および前記少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマーとは異なる、少なくとも1つのヒドロキシ置換(メタ)アクリレートモノマーを含むモノマーの組合せの反応生成物を含む、前記ホットメルト接着剤。 - 前記少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマーとは異なる前記少なくとも1つのヒドロキシ置換(メタ)アクリレートモノマーが、ヒドロキシエチルアクリレートモノマーを含む、請求項1に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記ヒドロキシポリマーが、60℃〜80℃のガラス転移温度(Tg)を有し、および/または500〜15,000の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1または2に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記ポリエステルが、4,000未満の数平均分子量(Mn)を有する、請求項1から3までのいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 前記イソシアネート成分5〜20質量%;
前記ポリエステル76〜84質量%;および
前記ヒドロキシポリマー2〜9質量%
の反応生成物を含む、請求項1から4までのいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤。 - 1〜5質量%の残留NCO含量を有し、および/または120℃で2,500〜75,000センチポワズ(cps)の溶融粘度を有する、請求項1から5までのいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 1,500〜4,000重量ポンド毎平方インチ(psi)(または10〜28メガパスカル(MPa))の引張強度を有し、および/または250〜750%の破断点伸びを有する、請求項1から6までのいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤。
- 第一表面;
該第一表面に隣接して配置される第二表面;ならびに
接着剤層
を含む物品であって、
前記接着剤層は、前記第一表面と前記第二表面とが該接着剤層によって接着結合されるように、該第一表面と該第二表面との間に配置され;
前記接着剤層は、請求項1から7までのいずれか1項に記載のホットメルト接着剤から形成される、前記物品。 - 室温で固体のホットメルト接着剤の形成方法であって、
20〜50質量%のNCO含量を有するイソシアネート成分を提供する工程;
ポリエステルを提供する工程;
40〜50のOH価を有するヒドロキシポリマーを提供する工程;および
前記イソシアネート成分、前記ポリエステル、および前記ヒドロキシポリマーを化合して、前記イソシアネート成分5〜25質量%、前記ポリエステル75〜85質量%、および前記ヒドロキシポリマー1〜10質量%を含むホットメルト接着剤を形成する工程
を含み、
前記ヒドロキシポリマーが、少なくとも1つのスチレンモノマー、少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマー、および前記少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマーとは異なる、少なくとも1つのヒドロキシ置換(メタ)アクリレートモノマーを含むモノマーの組合せの反応生成物を含む、前記方法。 - 前記少なくとも1つのアクリレートモノマーとは異なる前記少なくとも1つのヒドロキシ置換(メタ)アクリレートモノマーが、ヒドロキシエチルアクリレートモノマーを含む、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 前記化合する工程の前に、前記ポリエステルおよび前記イソシアネート成分を溶融するまで加熱する工程をさらに含む、請求項9または10に記載の方法。
- 反応容器を提供する工程をさらに含み、かつここで、前記化合する工程が、該反応容器内で前記イソシアネート成分、前記ポリエステル、および前記ヒドロキシポリマーを処理して前記ホットメルト接着剤を形成することとしてさらに定義され、かつここで、前記容器を、前記ホットメルト接着剤の形成の間、100℃〜130℃の温度で30〜180分間維持する、請求項9から11までのいずれか1項に記載の前記方法。
- 前記ポリエステルを前記容器に導入する前に、前記イソシアネート成分と前記ヒドロキシポリマーとを前記容器内で一定時間反応させて反応中間体を形成する、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記ヒドロキシポリマーを前記容器に導入する前に、前記イソシアネート成分と前記ポリエステルとを前記容器内で一定時間反応させて反応中間体を形成する、請求項12に記載の方法。
