Description
Claims (15)
- 多くのLEDを有するLED負荷と、
一次入力電圧レベルにおいて入力電圧を供給するよう実現される電源との接続のための入力端子と、
減光レベル入力信号に基づいて前記一次入力電圧レベルを超えるレベルに前記入力電圧をブーストするよう実現される電圧ブーストモジュールと、
ブーストされた前記入力電圧が前記一次入力電圧レベルを上回るときに前記LED負荷を流れるLED電流を減少させるよう実現される減光モジュールとを有するLED照明装置。 - 前記電圧ブーストモジュールが、減光レベルの増加に正比例して前記入力電圧をブーストするよう実現される請求項1に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記電圧ブーストモジュールが、最大減光レベルに対応する減光レベル入力信号の場合は、前記入力電圧を最大ブーストレベルにブーストするよう実現される請求項1又は2に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記減光モジュールが、前記ブーストされた入力電圧が最大ブーストレベルに近づくときに前記LED電流をゼロに減少させるよう実現される請求項1乃至3のいずれか一項に記載のLED照明装置。
- DC電源によって給電される照明器具のソケットへの挿入のためのコネクタを備えるレトロフィットLED電球として実現される請求項1乃至4のいずれか一項に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記電圧ブーストモジュールが、前記入力電圧を最大で3Vブーストするよう実現される請求項1乃至5のいずれか一項に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記電圧ブーストモジュールが、ブーストコンバータを有する請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記減光レベル入力信号を、前記ブーストコンバータのスイッチを制御するためのスイッチ制御信号に変換するためのインターフェース回路を有する請求項7に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記LED負荷が、第1半導体スイッチ及び電流検出抵抗器と直列に配設され、前記減光モジュールが、
基準入力及び変量入力を有する電流制御回路であって、前記基準入力及び前記変量入力の間の差に従って前記第1半導体スイッチを流れるLED電流を調整するよう実現される電流制御回路と、
前記ブーストされた入力電圧に基づいて、前記電流制御回路に対する前記変量入力を生成するよう実現される電圧モニタ回路とを有する請求項1乃至8のいずれか一項に記載のLED照明装置。 - 前記電圧モニタ回路が、プログラム可能なシャントレギュレータを有する請求項9に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記電流制御回路が、前記変量入力と前記基準入力を比較するよう実現される比較器を有し、前記比較器のゲインが、前記ブーストされた入力電圧によって制御される請求項9又は10に記載のLED照明装置。
- 前記比較器が、前記ブーストされた入力電圧が前記一次入力電圧レベルを上回るときに、前記第1半導体スイッチを流れる電流を減少させるよう接続される請求項11に記載のLED照明装置。
- 多くのLEDを有するLED負荷を持つLED照明装置を駆動する方法であって、
一次入力電圧レベルにおいて入力電圧を供給するよう実現される電源に前記LED照明装置を接続するステップと、
所望の減光レベルを指示するために減光レベル入力信号を前記LED照明装置に接続するステップと、
前記減光レベル入力信号に基づいて前記一次入力電圧レベルを超えるレベルに前記入力電圧をブーストするステップと、
ブーストされた前記入力電圧が前記一次入力電圧レベルを上回るときに前記LED負荷を流れるLED電流を減少させるステップとを有する方法。 - 前記ブーストされた入力電圧が前記一次入力電圧レベルを上回らないときに前記LED電流を最大駆動レベルにおいて維持するステップを有する請求項13に記載の方法。
- 前記ブーストされた入力電圧が前記一次入力電圧レベルを超えて増加するにつれて、前記LED電流を線形に減らすステップを有する請求項13又は14に記載の方法。
