Claims (7)
- 内周に複列の外側転走面が一体に形成された外方部材と、
外周に前記複列の外側転走面に対向する複列の内側転走面が形成された内方部材と、
この内方部材と前記外方部材のそれぞれの転走面間に転動自在に収容された複列の転動体と、
前記内方部材と前記外方部材との間に形成される環状空間の開口部両端を密封するシールと、を備え、
このうちインナー側のシールが、互いに対向配置された環状のシール板とスリンガとからなる複合型のシールで構成され、
前記シール板が、前記外方部材の端部内周に圧入される嵌合部を含む芯金と、この芯金に接合され、少なくとも径方向外方に傾斜して延びるサイドリップを一体に有するシール部材と、前記芯金の前記嵌合部の外径よりも大径のノーズ部と、を備えると共に、
前記スリンガが断面L字状に形成され、前記内方部材の端部外周に圧入される円筒部と、この円筒部から径方向外方に延びる立板部を有し、この立板部に前記サイドリップが所定の軸方向シメシロを介して摺接された車輪用軸受装置において、
前記外方部材の端部内周に、前記シールが圧入されるシール圧入部と、このシール圧入部と前記外方部材のインナー側の端面との間で、前記内方部材の外径面に対向する位置に当該シール圧入部よりも大径に形成された圧入ガイド部とを備え、
前記圧入ガイド部の幅が前記シールの幅より大きく設定されていて、
前記圧入ガイド部が、前記ノーズ部と所定のシメシロを持つ時に前記嵌合部とは所定の径方向すきまを持つように設定されていることを特徴とする車輪用軸受装置。 - 前記芯金の嵌合部の先端部が薄肉に形成され、この先端部を覆うように前記シール部材が回り込んで接合されると共に、前記芯金の嵌合部と圧入ガイド部との間に径方向すきまを有し、前記ノーズ部と前記圧入ガイド部とにシメシロを有する請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記ノーズ部と圧入ガイド部とのシメシロが直径で0〜0.2mmに設定されている請求項2に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記芯金の嵌合部と圧入ガイド部との径方向すきまが直径で0〜0.3mmに設定されている請求項1乃至3いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記圧入ガイド部の内径寸法の交差範囲が±0.08mm以内に設定されている請求項1乃至4いずれかに記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記シール圧入部と圧入ガイド部との間にインナー側に漸次拡径する傾斜角10〜45°のテーパ面からなる段差が形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
- 前記圧入ガイド部がインナー側に漸次拡径する傾斜角0〜5°からなるテーパ面に形成されている請求項1に記載の車輪用軸受装置。
