Claims (9)
- 送風ファンであって、
上下方向を向く中心軸回りを回転し、周方向に配列された複数の羽根と、前記複数の羽根を支持する羽根支持部とを有するインペラと、
前記インペラを回転させるモータ部と、
前記インペラを収納するハウジングと、
を備え、
前記インペラは、前記羽根と隣接して配置される前記羽根との間に、前記インペラの上側の空間と前記インペラと前記下プレート部の間の空間とを軸方向に繋ぐ空間が存在し、
前記ハウジングが、
前記インペラの下側を覆うとともに前記モータ部を支持し、熱伝導率が1.0W/(m・K)以上の材料で構成される下プレート部と、
前記インペラの側方を覆い、前記下プレート部と接続され、熱伝導率が1.0W/(m・K)以上の材料で構成される側壁部と、
を備え、
前記インペラの上側を覆う上プレート部が、吸気口を有し、
前記上プレート部、前記側壁部および前記下プレート部により、前記インペラの側方に送風口が構成され、
前記送風ファンは、熱源を前記下プレート部の下面に空隙を介さず接触可能な熱源接触部を有し、
前記送風口は、前記上プレート部のエッジ、前記側壁部の一対のエッジ、および、前記下プレート部のエッジのうち最も前記中心軸に近いエッジを含み、前記中心軸線に平行な平面であり、
前記熱源接触部と前記側壁部とは平面視において少なくとも一部が重なる。 - 請求項1に記載の送風ファンであって、
前記熱源接触部の一部は、平面視において前記側壁部の内周面よりも径方向内側に位置する。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の送風ファンであって、
前記側壁部は、前記送風口と前記インペラとの間に突出する舌部を有し、
前記熱源接触部と前記舌部とは平面視において少なくとも一部が重なる。 - 請求項1または請求項2に記載の送風ファンであって、
前記熱源接触部と前記側壁部とが平面視において重なっている領域の面積は、熱源接触部の側壁部の内周面よりも径方向内側の領域の面積よりも小さい。 - 請求項4に記載の送風ファンであって、
平面視した際に、前記送風口と平行且つ前記中心軸と交差する仮想第1直線とし、前記送風口と垂直且つ前記中心軸と交差する仮想第2直線とし、
前記仮想第1直線と前記仮想第2直線とで区切られる4つの領域の内、前記舌部が配置される領域を第1領域、前記第1領域から前記インペラの回転方向側に向かって第2領域、第3領域および第4領域とし、
前記熱源接触部は、前記第4領域に位置する。 - 請求項1ないし請求項5のいずれかに記載の送風ファンであって、
前記熱源接触部と前記複数の羽根とは、平面視において少なくとも一部が重なる。 - 請求項1ないし請求項6のいずれかに記載の送風ファンであって、
前記下プレート部および前記側壁部は、一体として形成される、送風ファン。 - 請求項1ないし請求項7のいずれかに記載の送風ファンであって、
前記下プレート部に熱源を収容できる熱源収容部を有する。 - 筐体を備えた電子機器であって、
請求項1ないし請求項8のいずれかに記載の送風ファンを有し、
前記筐体は、
前記送風ファンの上プレートを替わりに送風ファンの上側を覆う天板と、
前記送風ファンの側方に位置する側板と、
前記送風ファンの下方に位置する底板と、
を備え、
前記天板は前記吸気口を有することを特徴とする、電子機器。
