Description
本出願は、米国特許法第119条(e)に基づき、「Wet Scrubber Using Fiber Filters for PWR and BWR Containment Venting」と題する2012年7月6日に出願された米国仮特許出願第61/668,585号の優先権を主張する。
Claims (13)
- 原子炉から漏出する放射線を閉じ込めるための原子炉(12)を収容する格納容器(10)を備えた原子力発電施設であって、当該格納容器は、格納容器内の気体排出物の圧力が所定の値を上回るレベルまで増加した場合に格納容器雰囲気の増加した圧力を制御下で解放するための換気出口(58)を備え、当該原子力発電施設に含まれるフィルタ(22)は、
換気出口(58)に接続される入口ノズル(34)を備えるフィルタ容器(24)、
フィルタ容器(24)の内部下方を占め、格納容器内の気体排出物を洗浄する機能を有する液体(30)、
フィルタ容器(24)の内部下方に延びる、入口ノズル(34)と流体連通関係にある入口導管、
入口導管に接続され、フィルタ容器(24)の内部下方に延び、複数の出口(42)を備えるマニホールド(36)であって、格納容器内の気体排出物の一部を当該フィルタ容器に含まれる液体(30)のプール中に放出するように当該出口(42)のそれぞれと協働するように設計されているマニホールド(36)、
それぞれが液体(30)に浸漬されていて、マニホールド(36)の対応する出口(42)を介して排出される気体排出物をフィルタ処理するために第1の繊維密度を有する第1の群の繊維フィルタ(44)であって、格納容器内の気体排出物が液体(30)に接する前に当該フィルタ群の少なくとも一部を通過するように、各フィルタはマニホールド出口の1つに流体連通関係に接続されている第1の群の繊維フィルタ(44)、および
フィルタ容器(24)の内部と流体連通関係にあり、フィルタ処理された格納容器内の気体排出物を格納容器の外側の外気中に排出する機能を有する容器出口(26)
から成ることを特徴とする原子力発電施設。 - 当該液体(30)にチオ硫酸ナトリウムが溶解している請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- フィルタ処理された格納容器内の気体排出物の排気部分から湿分を分離するために液体(30)のプールの上方で支持されるデミスタ(48)を備える請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- 第2の群の繊維フィルタ(54)が、フィルタ容器出口(26)に接続された第2のマニホールド(50)から延びている請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- 第2の群の繊維フィルタ(54)が第1の群の繊維フィルタ(44)よりも繊維密度が高い請求項4の原子力発電施設。
- 第2の群の繊維フィルタ(54)が金属繊維から成る請求項5の原子力発電施設。
- 第1の群の繊維フィルタ(44)が金属繊維から成る請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- フィルタ容器(24)が、フィルタ容器内部を大気圧より高い圧力に維持するための装置(28)を備えた圧力容器である請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- マニホールド(36)がフィルタ容器(24)の内部下方へ、当該フィルタ容器の中心軸に対して鋭角をなして延びている請求項1の原子力発電施設。
- マニホールド(36)が、フィルタ容器(24)の内部下方へ頂点(39)から逆「V字」状に延びる脚部(38、40)と、少なくとも一方の脚部(38、40)から延びる出口(42)とを有する請求項9の原子力発電施設。
- 下方へ延びる脚部(38、40)の各々から出口(42)が延びる請求項10の原子力発電施設。
- 延びた脚部(38、40)から出口(42)が上方へ延びる請求項10の原子力発電施設。
- フィルタ容器(24)が窒素により不活性雰囲気に保たれている請求項1の原子力発電施設。
