Description
2液硬化型のシリコーンエラストマーであるRT601のA液27.0gとB液3.0gを、遠心攪拌装置内に配置されたガラス容器に入れた。攪拌及び脱泡処理を2分ずつ行った。その後、得られた粘性混合物を、ステンレス鋼のスペーサ及びガラス板(底板)から構成され、寸法100mm×100mm×2mmのシートを形成できるモールドに注ぎ入れた。混合物の入ったモールドをアクリル樹脂製の真空ボックスに入れ、0.1MPaで6分間脱気した。モールドに入って得られた試料を室温で24時間硬化した。こうして得られた厚さ2mmのシリコーンシートを30mm×30mm×2mmの大きさに切り抜いた。
比較例1で得られたシリコーンシートに対して、プラズマ処理装置WB7000(Plasma Therm Industrial Products, Inc.)を使用して、テトラメチルシラン(TMS)及び/又は酸素の存在下、電力密度は0.068W/cm2(印加電力200W)、0.171W/cm2(印加電力500W)、又は0.274W/cm2(印加電力800W)、温度25℃、圧力100mTorrにてプラズマ処理を60秒行った。プラズマ処理条件を表2に示す。
上述したフルオロエラストマー組成物を、ステンレス鋼のスペーサ及び2枚のステンレス鋼板から構成され、寸法100mm×100mm×2mmのシートを形成できるモールドの中に配置した。モールドのステンレス鋼板の上下から圧力0.83MPa、温度170℃で10分プレスした後、230℃のオーブンにモールドを24時間入れた。こうして得られた厚さ2mmのフルオロエラストマーシートを30mm×30mm×2mmの大きさに切り抜いた。
例1〜15及び比較例2〜4と同様に、比較例5で得られたフルオロエラストマーシートに対してプラズマ処理を行った。プラズマ処理条件を表3に示す。
例1〜27及び比較例1〜6のシートの特性を以下の方法にしたがって評価した。
全透過率、ヘーズ値、拡散透過率及び平行透過率は、JIS K 7136(2000)及びJIS K 7361−1(1997)に準拠して、ヘーズメーターNDH−5000W(日本電色工業株式会社より入手)を使用して測定した。ヘーズ値は以下の式にしたがって算出した。
ヘーズ値=(拡散透過率/全透過率)×100
摩擦力は、JIS T−0303に準拠して、Friction Player:FPR−2100(RHESCA CO., LTDより入手)を使用し、固定試験片を3×3cm2として、25℃、荷重50g(0.49N)、ストローク14.5mm、速度14.5mm/秒で30回往復させて測定した。測定値の絶対値を平均したものを摩擦力とした。また、摩擦力を荷重0.49Nで割って動摩擦係数を算出した。
接触角メーター(協和界面科学株式会社から製品名「DROPMASTER FACE」として入手)を使用し、Sessile Drop法により、シート表面の水接触角を測定した。静的測定について液滴の体積を4μLとした。5回測定した平均から水接触角の値を計算した。
本発明の実施態様の一部を以下の項目[1]−[15]に記載する。

テトラメチルシラン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン及びヘキサメチルジシラザンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のケイ素含有ガスを含む気体流中でプラズマ処理された表面を有するポリマーを含む物品であって、前記ポリマーがシリコーン及びフルオロポリマーからなる群から選択される物品。

前記プラズマ処理された表面の動摩擦係数が、プラズマ処理されていない表面の0.01〜0.9倍である、項目1又は2のいずれかに記載の物品。

前記ポリマーがシリコーンである、項目1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の物品。

前記ポリマーがフルオロポリマーである、項目1〜6のいずれか一項に記載の物品。

シリコーン及びフルオロポリマーからなる群から選択されるポリマーを含む物品を、テトラメチルシラン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン及びヘキサメチルジシラザンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のケイ素含有ガスを含む気体流中でプラズマ処理することを含む、摩擦係数の低い表面を有する物品の製造方法。

Claims (7)
- テトラメチルシラン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン及びヘキサメチルジシラザンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のケイ素含有ガスを含む気体流中でプラズマ処理された表面を有するポリマーを含む物品であって、
前記ポリマーがシリコーンであり、
前記プラズマ処理された表面の動摩擦係数が、プラズマ処理されていない表面の0.01〜0.9倍であり、
前記プラズマ処理された物品の全透過率が、プラズマ処理されていない物品の95%以上である物品。 - 前記ポリマーがエラストマーである、請求項1に記載の物品。
- 前記プラズマ処理された物品のヘーズ値が、プラズマ処理されていない物品の3倍以下である、請求項1又は2に記載の物品。
- シリコーン及びフルオロポリマーからなる群から選択されるポリマーを含む物品を、テトラメチルシラン、ヘキサメチルジシロキサン及びヘキサメチルジシラザンからなる群から選択される少なくとも1種のケイ素含有ガスを含む気体流中でプラズマ処理することを含み、前記プラズマ処理中の放電空間の電力密度が0.05〜1.0W/cm 2 である、プラズマ処理前の表面と比べて摩擦係数が低減された表面を有する物品の製造方法。
- 前記気体流中の酸素と前記ケイ素含有ガスの流量比が0.1:1〜5:1である、請求項4に記載の方法。
- 前記プラズマ処理の時間が2〜300秒である、請求項4又は5に記載の方法。
- 前記ポリマーがエラストマーである、請求項4〜6のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
