Claims (4)
- 半径方向外方に向かって突出した複数個の外方突出部が周方向に沿って配置された環状の第1の磁性体と、
前記第1の磁性体の前記外方突出部に対向するように形成された複数個の内方突出部が周方向に沿って配置された環状の第2の磁性体と、
前記第1の磁性体と前記第2の磁性体とを相対的に回転動作させる回転ノブと、を備え、
前記第1の磁性体または前記第2の磁性体のうち少なくともいずれかは、相互に対向する対向面が上下に配され、且つ、前記対向面を含む上下二極に着磁された磁石と、前記磁石の前記対向面を上下方向から挟持する一対のヨークと、前記一対のヨークに形成された前記外方突出部または前記内方突出部と、
前記回転ノブを回転自在に支持するケース部材と、を有し、
前記ケース部材と前記回転ノブとの間には、カム部材が介されており、
前記カム部材は、前記内方突出部及び前記外方突出部が対向する回転位置を規定位置として前記回転ノブを位置決めするとともに、前記規定位置から前記回転ノブを回転動作させた際には前記回転ノブに操作反力を与えることを特徴とする回転入力装置。 - 前記カム部材は、球体と、前記球体を付勢する弾性部材と、前記回転ノブに形成された連続的な凹形状及び凸形状からなる摺動部と、からなり、
前記摺動部は前記内方突出部及び前記外方突出部が対向する回転位置を前記凹形状の最大点とするとともに、
前記内方突出部及び前記外方突出部が相対的に回転した際に、双方の中間位置に相当する回転位置が前記凸形状の最大点となるようにし、
前記球体は前記回転ノブの動作に応じて前記弾性部材から加わる弾性力に抗して前記摺動部上を移動することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の回転入力装置。 - 前記第1の磁性体及び前記第2の磁性体が、前記磁石と、前記一対のヨークと、前記一対のヨークに形成された前記外方突出部または前記内方突出部と、をそれぞれ有し、
前記第2の磁性体の前記磁石が、前記第1の磁性体の前記磁石とは上下反転して着磁されて配置されたことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の回転入力装置。 - 前記磁石がコア材と前記コア材に卷回されたコイル材とからなる電磁石であることを特徴とする請求項1乃至請求項3のいずれかに記載の回転入力装置。
