Description
・一回圧延鋼基材、又は
第一と第二冷間圧延工程の間に再結晶焼なましされた二回圧延鋼基材
を用意する工程、
・一回圧延鋼基材又は二回圧延鋼基材の片側又は両側に、スズ層を電着し、スズ被覆鋼基材を形成する工程、
・スズ被覆鋼基材を、少なくとも513℃の温度Taで、時間taの間、焼なましし、スズ層を少なくとも80重量%のFeSn(鉄50原子%及びスズ50原子%)を含む鉄−スズ合金層に転換する工程、
・鉄−スズ合金被覆基材を急速冷却する工程、
・鉄−スズ合金被覆基材の片側又は両側をポリマー被覆し、ポリマー被覆工程の間に基材が加熱される工程、
・ポリマー被覆工程後任意のときに、基材に以下のような延伸工程を施す工程、
a.材料に調質圧延機を通過させる、及び、板厚減少を0〜3%の間、 好ましくは少なくとも0.2%、とする、又は
b.延伸整直機を通過させる
・ポリエステルはジカルボン酸及びグリコールからなる。適切なジカルボン酸の例としては、テレフタル酸、イソフタル酸、ナフタレンジカルボン酸、及びシクロヘキサンジカルボン酸がある。適切なグリコールの例としては、エチレングリコール、プロパンジオール、ブタンジオール、ヘキサンジオール、シクロヘキサンジオール、シクロヘキサンジメタノール、ネオペンチルグリコール等がある。2種以上のカルボン酸又はグリコールを共に使うことができる。
・ポリオレフィンとしては、例えば、エチレン、プロピレン、1−ブテン、1−ペンテン、1−ヘキセン、又は、1−オクテンのポリマー又はコポリマーがある。
・アクリル樹脂としては、例えば、アクリル酸、メタクリル酸、アクリル酸エステル、メタクリル酸エステル、又はアクリルアミドのポリマー又はコポリマーがある。
・ポリアミド樹脂としては、例えば、いわゆるナイロン6、ナイロン66、ナイロン46、ナイロン610、及びナイロン11がある。
・塩化ポリビニルとしては、例えばエチレン又はビニルアセテートのホモポリマー及びコポリマーがある。
・フルオロカーボン樹脂としては、例えば、テトラフッ化ポリエチレン、トリフッ化モノ塩素化ポリエチレン、ヘキサフッ化エチレンプロピレン樹脂、ポリビニルフッ化物、及び、ポリビニリデンフッ化物がある。
・官能基化ポリマーとしては、例えば、無水マレイン酸グラフト化によるもの、変性ポリエチレン、変性ポリプロピレン、変性エチレンアクリレートコポリマー、及び、変性エチレンビニルアセテートがある。
・再結晶焼なましされ、所望により調質圧延された、一回圧延鋼基材(SRブラックプレート)、又は、
・第一と第二冷間圧延処理の間に再結晶焼なましされた二回圧延基材(DRブラックプレート)
を含んでなり、
片側又は両側に少なくとも80重量%のFeSn(鉄50原子%及びスズ50原子%)を含む鉄−スズ合金層を備え、鉄−スズ合金層は、基材の片側又は両側にスズ層が形成され、続いてスズ層が少なくとも513℃の温度Taで、時間taの間の焼なまし工程に付されることで形成され、及び、片側又は両側の表面にポリマー被覆されており、ポリマー被覆の間、基材は加熱されていて、かつ調質圧延又は材料が延伸整直機を通過することによって、ポリマー被覆基材が塑性変形を受けたもの。
Claims (13)
- ・一回圧延鋼基材、又は
第一と第二冷間圧延工程の間に再結晶焼なましされた二回圧延鋼基材
を用意する工程、
・一回圧延鋼基材又は二回圧延鋼基材の片側又は両側に、スズ層を電着し、スズ被覆鋼基材を形成させる工程、
・スズ被覆鋼基材を、少なくとも513℃の温度Taで、時間taの間、焼なましして、スズ層を少なくとも80重量%のFeSn(鉄50原子%及びスズ50原子%)を含む鉄−スズ合金層に転換する工程、
・鉄−スズ合金被覆基材を少なくとも100℃/秒の冷却速度で急速冷却する工程、
・鉄−スズ合金被覆基材の片側又は両側がポリマー被覆された鉄−スズ合金被覆基材を供する工程であって、ここでポリマー被覆は熱可塑性樹脂の単層又は多層ポリマー被覆であり、ポリマー被覆処工程の間に基材が加熱される工程、
・ポリマー被覆工程後任意のときに、基材に:
a.材料に調質圧延機を通過させる、及び、板厚減少を0.2〜3%の間とする、又は
b.延伸整直機を通過させる
ことにより延伸操作を施す工程
を含んでなる、包装用途向けポリマー被覆鋼基材を製造する方法。 - 鉄−スズ合金層が、少なくとも85重量%のFeSnを含む、請求項1に記載の包装用途向け被覆基材の製造方法。
- 急速冷却前に、被覆基材を、還元性又は不活性ガス雰囲気中に保持しながら、焼なましを還元性ガス雰囲気中で行う、請求項1又は2に記載の方法。
- 急速冷却が、水急冷により達成され、急冷用の水は、室温と80℃との間の温度を有し、急冷処理がストリップ幅にわたって、均等な冷却速度を構築及び維持するように設計されている、請求項1〜3のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- ・スズ層を鉄−スズ合金層に転換する工程における焼なまし工程が、
水素含有雰囲気中で、300℃/秒を超える加熱速度を発生させることができる加熱装置を使用し、及び、
焼きなまし工程に引き続く、ストリップ幅にわたり温度分布を均一化する、焼なまし温度を保持する均熱(heat soak)を含んでなる、請求項1〜4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 - 基材の片側もしくは両側のスズ層の被覆重量が、基材に対し最大1000mg/m 2 である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 基材の片側もしくは両側のスズ層の被覆重量が、基材に対し少なくとも100及び最大600mg/m 2 、である、請求項1〜5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 熱可塑性ポリマー被覆が、ポリエステルまたはポリオレフィン、アクリル樹脂、ポリアミド、塩化ポリビニル、フルオロカーボン樹脂、ポリカーボネート、スチレンタイプ樹脂、ABS樹脂、塩素化ポリエーテル、アイオノマー、ウレタン樹脂、及び、官能基化ポリマー、及び/又は、それらの共重合体、及び/又はそれらのブレンドからなる群から選択される熱可塑性樹脂を使用する、一またはそれより多い層を具備してなるポリマー被覆系である、請求項1〜7のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 被覆基材の孔食に対する感受性を下げるために、ポリマー被覆工程の前に、鉄−スズ合金層の上に追加被覆が施される方法であって、追加適用された有機被覆に対する密着性を保たれ、所望によりいずれかの追加被覆層の適用前に鉄−スズ層にスズ層を堆積し、及び、所望により追加被覆層の適用前にこのスズ層が引き続いてリフローされる、請求項1〜8のいずれか一項に記載の方法。
- 追加被覆が、ポリマー被覆工程の前に、鉄−スズ合金層の上に堆積された金属クロム−クロム酸化物被覆層からなる、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 金属クロム−クロム酸化物層が、三価クロム化合物、キレート剤、任意の導電性塩、任意の減極剤、任意の界面活性剤、及びpH調整用の酸又は塩基の混合物からなるめっき溶液によるめっき工程により堆積された、請求項10に記載の方法。
- キレート剤がギ酸アニオンを含んでなり、導電性塩がアルカリ金属カチオンを含み、及び、減極剤が臭素含有塩を含んでなる、請求項11に記載の方法。
- キレート剤、導電性塩、及び減極剤におけるカチオン種がカリウムである、請求項12に記載の方法。
