Description
US6,296,608 B1は、組織上の介入手順を診断及び実行するためのカテーテルを記載している。光が、光ファイバを介してカテーテルの遠位端まで透過され、組織からの光が、分光診断システムによる解析のために運ばれ、組織上に介入手順を行うべきかどうか決定される。さらに、カテーテルは、カテーテルを介してインクリザーバから供給されたインクで組織を標識することができる。
WO2006/076810 A1は、内視鏡画像処理の間に得られた反射スペクトル測定から癌性変化を測定するための装置を記載している。
US2003/0220540 A1は、例えば、RFカットツール手段による、in situでの組織標識及び方向安定化のためのシステムを記載している。検体は、組織カットツールによって、カットされるに従い、又は、部分的若しくは完全なカットが行われた後で標識することができる。
組織を照射するためのプローブであり、該プローブを介して、照射した組織領域からの光を収集するためのプローブ、及び、プローブ内に組み込まれた出力部分を有する組織標識機構を提供するステップ、
患者の組織を、プローブと接触させるステップ、
プローブを介して組織領域から集めた光を感知及び解析し、組織領域内の癌性又は前癌性病変の確率の閾値の大きさを超えたかどうかを決定するステップ、並びに、
閾値の大きさを超えた場合に、組織標識機構を作動させて、プローブを介して組織領域を標識するステップ、
を含む。
Claims (13)
- 生物学的組織を標識するためのフォトニクスプローブ装置であって、
組織を照射するためのプローブであり、該プローブを介して、照射された組織領域からの光を収集するためのプローブ、
組織を照射するために前記プローブに接続される光源、
前記組織領域から収集された光を受ける及び検出するために前記プローブに接続される光センサ、
該光センサからの出力信号に基づき、前記プローブと接触した探索される前記組織領域における癌性又は前癌性病変の確率の閾値の大きさが超えられたかどうかを決定するための解析ユニット、並びに、
前記閾値の大きさが超えられた場合に、前記プローブを介して前記探索される組織領域を標識するように作動させることができる組み込まれた組織標識機構、
を含み、
前記組織標識機構が、前記プローブと接触した組織を凝固するのに十分な電流を、前記プローブ内に置かれる出力電極に供給するために接続される電流源を含み、
前記プローブはその先端に、複数の異なる波長の光を同時に透過させる複数の光透過部分を含む、フォトニクスプローブ装置。 - 前記解析ユニットが、
前記光センサから前記出力信号を受けるために接続される電子プロセッサ、及び
コンピュータプログラムを保持するメモリ、
を含み、前記コンピュータプログラムが、前記電子プロセッサによって実行された場合に、
前記光センサからの出力信号に基づき、前記組織領域における癌性又は前癌性病変の確率の1つ又は複数の大きさを決定する、及び、
決定された前記確率の大きさのうち1つ又は複数の大きさが、所定の閾値を超えたかどうかを決定する、
ように構成される、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。 - 癌性又は前癌性病変の確率の大きさを決定することが、前記光センサからの出力信号に基づき、前癌性ではない組織から前癌性及び/又は癌性組織を区別することを含む、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記電子プロセッサが、前記組織標識機構を制御するために接続され、さらに、前記コンピュータプログラムが、前記閾値の大きさが超えられた場合に、前記組織標識機構を自動的に作動させて、組織を標識するように構成される、請求項2に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記電子プロセッサに接続される聴覚及び/又は視覚による出力装置をさらに含み、さらに、前記コンピュータプログラムが、前記聴覚及び/又は視覚による出力装置を制御して、前記閾値の大きさが超えられたかどうかを使用者に示すように構成される、請求項2に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記プローブが、使用者が前記組み込まれた組織標識機構を作動させて組織を標識するのを可能にするインターフェースをさらに含む、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記光源及び前記光センサが、異なる波長にて収集された光の強度を検出してスペクトルを記録するように構成され、さらに、前記閾値の大きさが、記録された前記スペクトルにおける1つ又は複数のピークのサイズに関連する、請求項1乃至6のいずれか一項に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- プローブの先端が交換可能であり、さらに、前記光源、前記光センサ及び組織標識機構が、前記プローブの前記交換可能な先端を介して機能する、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記組織標識機構が、標識物質を保持するためのカートリッジ、及び、前記プローブ内の出力部分を介して前記標識物質を投与し、前記プローブと接触した組織を染色するための手段を含む、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 前記標識物質が青色のインクである、請求項9に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 患者の組織に相対して前記プローブの少なくとも一部を移動させるための走査機構をさらに含む、請求項1に記載のフォトニクスプローブ装置。
- 生物学的/in vivoでの組織を標識するための組み込まれた組織標識機構を有するフォトニクスプローブ装置に対するプローブの交換可能な先端であって、医療用に認可された材料で形成され、さらに、
複数の異なる波長の光を同時に透過させる複数の光透過部分、
前記組織領域を標識するための組織標識機構に対する出力部分、及び、
取外し可能な様式で、及び、前記複数の光透過部分が、前記プローブからの光の出力及び前記プローブへの光の入力と整列するように、当該先端をプローブに取り付けるための手段、
を含み、
前記組織標識機構に対する出力部分が、前記組織標識機構の電流源に接続される電極を含み、前記電極が、前記プローブに取り付けられた場合に当該交換可能な先端によって接触される組織と接触するように配置される、
交換可能な先端。 - 標識物質を保持するためのカートリッジ、及び、前記組織標識機構に対する出力部分を介して前記標識物質を投与するための手段をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の交換可能な先端。
