Description
保持器に施した被膜の摩耗量を測定するために、試験片(保持器)に対して表1に示す被膜を形成し、下記の保持器回転試験を実施した。結果を表1に示す。試験条件、試験片、測定方法等について以下に詳細を示す。この試験条件は、保持器をコンロッドで使用する場合を想定した条件である。また、表中の各被膜材質における表面自由エネルギーは、上述の方法により測定した値である。
試験条件:
面圧:5.3MPa、
滑り速度:800m/min
潤滑油:鉱油(10W−30)
時間:100h
試験片:ニードル軸受保持器(SCM415製:全面に被膜形成)
被膜を施した角棒3本を150℃の潤滑油〔ポリ−α−オレフィン:ルーカントHL−10(三井化学社製)にZnDTP(LUBRIZOL677A、LUBRIZOL社製)を1重量%添加したもの〕2.2gに200時間浸漬した後、潤滑油中に溶出した被膜成分の濃度(溶出量、ppm)を測定した。濃度測定は、蛍光X線測定〔蛍光X線測定装置:Rigaku ZSX100e(リガク社製)〕により定量した。試験片はSCM415製3mm×3mm×20mmの角棒を3本ずつ(合計表面積774mm2)用いた。

Claims (7)
- 転がり軸受における転動体を保持する転がり軸受用保持器であって、
該保持器の最外表面のうち、少なくとも前記転動体との摺接面および他部材との摺接面に、スズとスズ以外の金属とからなるスズ合金被膜が形成されており、
前記スズ以外の金属は、鉄よりも表面自由エネルギーが小さい金属であり、
前記スズ合金被膜において、前記スズと前記金属との重量比率が(スズ:スズ以外の金属)=(65:35)〜(95:5)であり、
前記スズ合金被膜の膜厚が、5μmをこえて30μm未満であることを特徴とする転がり軸受用保持器。 - 前記スズ以外の金属が、ビスマス、金、銀、亜鉛、インジウム、コバルト、ニッケル、およびアンチモンから選ばれる少なくとも1つの金属であることを特徴とする請求項1記載の転がり軸受用保持器。
- 前記スズ以外の金属が、前記亜鉛であることを特徴とする請求項2記載の転がり軸受用保持器。
- 前記転がり軸受用保持器の保持器本体が、軸受鋼、浸炭鋼、機械構造用炭素鋼、冷間圧延鋼、および熱間圧延鋼から選ばれる鉄系金属材料からなることを特徴とする請求項1、請求項2、または請求項3記載の転がり軸受用保持器。
- 前記スズ合金被膜は、3mm×3mm×20mmの寸法(表面積258mm2 )を有するSCM415製基材片の全表面に該被膜を形成した試験片3個を、ジチオリン酸亜鉛を1重量%含有させたポリ−α−オレフィン油2.2g中に150℃にて200時間浸漬処理したときに、試験片から溶出する被膜成分量が蛍光X線測定装置による測定にて、前記油中で500ppm以下となる被膜であることを特徴とする請求項1から請求項4のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用保持器。
- 複数の転動体と、この転動体を保持する保持器とを備えてなる転がり軸受であって、前記保持器が請求項1から請求項5のいずれか1項記載の転がり軸受用保持器であることを特徴とする転がり軸受。
- 前記転がり軸受が、回転運動を出力するクランク軸を支持し、直線往復運動を回転運動に変換するコンロッドの端部に設けられた係合穴に取り付けられることを特徴とする請求項6記載の転がり軸受。
