Claims (33)

- 前記少なくとも一つの光抽出特徴部が、前記キャリアの一方の側に接続された光指向器を備え、放出光を所望の方向に向けるように構成されている、請求項2から4のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 実質的に同じ波長の光を放出し、二つの垂直な整列軸に沿って配向されていて、直交偏光の光を生じさせるナノロッドを備えた請求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 少なくとも二つの異なる波長の光を放出する前記少なくとも二つの組の一様に整列したナノロッドの混合物を含有する少なくとも一つの領域を備えた請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- それぞれ二組のナノロッドを含有する間隔の空けられた領域の少なくとも一つの対を備えた請求項1から7のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 少なくとも一つの軸に沿って間隔を空けて配置された複数の領域のアレイを備え、前記少なくとも一つの軸に沿って整列した各隣接する二つの領域が、異なる組のナノロッドを含有する、請求項1から8のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記ポンピング光の伝播方向軸に沿って間隔の空けられた少なくとも二つの層を備え、前記光学活性ナノロッドの少なくとも二つの異なる組が、少なくとも二つの異なる波長の光を放出して、前記少なくとも二つの異なる層内にそれぞれ配置されていて、前記光学活性構造体のカスケード配置が形成されている、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 放出光の少なくとも二つの波長のうち相対的に短波長の光を放出するナノロッドが、前記ポンピング光の伝播方向に対して、相対的に長波長の光を放出するナノロッドの下流に配置されるように、前記ナノロッドの少なくとも二つの組が前記少なくとも二つの層内に配置されている、請求項10に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが少なくとも一つの層内に配置されている、請求項1から9のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- ナノロッドの埋め込まれた前記キャリアが、10マイクロメートルから1マイクロメートル又はそれ以上の厚さを有する、請求項2に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが基板キャリア上に堆積されている、請求項1に記載の構造体。
- 前記基板キャリアが、前記ポンピング光及び放出光に対して光学的に透明である、請求項14に記載の構造体。
- ナノロッドの堆積フィルムが、10ナノメートルから2マイクロメートル又はそれ以上の厚さを有する、請求項14又は15に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが一種以上の半導体製である、請求項1から16のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが、少なくとも1.8のアスペクト比の細長の幾何学的形状を有する、請求項1から17のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドがコア‐シェル構造を有する、請求項1から18のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが、シーディングされたロッドとして構成されている、請求項1から19のいずれか一項に記載の構造体。
- 前記シーディングされたナノロッドのシードが球形又はロッド状の幾何学的形状を有する、請求項20に記載の構造体。
- 請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載の光学活性構造体と、ポンピング光源とを備えた照明デバイス。
- 請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載の光学活性構造体と、前記光学活性構造体を励起するためのポンピング光源と、前記光学活性構造体によって放出される光に晒される画素配列部とを備えて、カラーディスプレイデバイスとして構成された照明デバイス。
- 前記光学活性構造体が、バックライトユニットとして動作するように構成されている、請求項22又は23に記載の照明デバイス。
- 請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載の光学活性構造体と、ポンピング光による前記光学活性構造体のサイドポンピング用に構成されたポンピング光源とを備えて、前記光学活性構造体が、出力光の一般的な伝播軸に沿って光を放出するように構成されて、前記光学活性構造体の少なくとも一つの縁が前記ポンピング光に晒されて、前記光学活性構造体上に向かう前記ポンピング光の一般的な伝播方向の軸と前記出力光の一般的な伝播軸が交差軸となる、照明デバイス。
- 第一の一般的伝播方向に沿って放出光を向けるように構成されていて、前記光学活性構造体に向けて前記ポンピング光の第二の一般的伝播方向を定める前記ポンピング光の光源を備え、前記第二の一般的伝播方向が、出力光の前記第一の一般的伝播方向によって定められる軸と交差する軸に沿っている、請求項22から25のいずれか一項に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記光学活性構造体によって放出される光の光路内に配置された少なくとも一つの光偏向表面を備えた請求項22から26のいずれか一項に記載の照明デバイス。
- 前記光学活性構造体によって放出される光の光路内に配置された少なくとも一つの光屈折表面を備えた請求項22から27のいずれか一項に記載の照明デバイス。
- 光学活性ナノロッドの二つの組を備えた光学活性構造体であって、同じ組のナノロッドが他の組のナノロッドの整列軸に実質的に垂直な整列軸で一様に整列していることによって、直交した偏光が放出され、放出光の偏光を保持するように構成された少なくとも一つの光抽出特徴部を更に備え、前記少なくとも一つの光抽出特徴部が、通過する光の偏光を保持するように構成された反射、拡散及び屈折構造又は界面のうち少なくとも一つを備える、光学活性構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドが、少なくとも二つの異なる波長の光を放出するナノロッドを備える、請求項29に記載の構造体。
- 前記ナノロッドの二つの組が、少なくとも二つの間隔の空いた領域内に配置されていて、各領域が、一つの組のナノロッドを備え、他の組のナノロッドを備えた少なくとも一つの領域に隣接している、請求項29又は30に記載の構造体。
- ポンピング光に応答して放出される光の波長が互いに異なる光学活性ナノロッドの少なくとも二つの組を備えた光学活性構造体であって、前記光学活性ナノロッドが、整列軸に沿って一様に配向された複数のナノロッドを備え、前記ポンピング光に応答して実質的に偏光した光を放出し、放出光の偏光を保持するように構成された少なくとも一つの光抽出特徴部を更に備え、前記少なくとも一つの光抽出特徴部が、通過する光の偏光を保持するように構成された反射、拡散及び屈折構造又は界面のうち少なくとも一つを備える、光学活性構造体。
- 請求項1から21のいずれか一項に記載の光学活性構造体と、前記光学活性構造体を励起するためのポンピング光源と、前記光学活性構造体が放出した光に晒される空間光変調器とを備えたディスプレイデバイス。
