Description
図1〜図5は本発明に係る円筒状ケースの一実施例を示しており、この実施例では、本発明に係る筒状ケースが航空機用ジェットエンジンのファンケースである場合を例に挙げて説明する。
まず、図4(a)に示すように、成形装置20を構成する筒状のマンドレル20C,このマンドレル20Cの前端部(図示左端部)に対して接近離間可能なフランジ成形型20F及びマンドレル20Cの後端部(図示右端部)に対して接近離間可能な溝成形型20Rの各成形面に離型剤Lを吹き付ける。

Claims (4)
- 強化繊維に熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた複合材料から成る円筒状ケースであって、
円筒状を成すケース本体と、
前記ケース本体の端部において周方向に沿って環状に配置された遠心側に開口する溝を備え、
前記ケース本体を構成する周壁は、前記ケース本体の軸心方向に対する配向角が±15〜75°の2軸の強化繊維帯から成るノンクリンプ構造の2軸織物を含む複数の2軸織物層と、前記ケース本体の周方向に沿う強化繊維を束ねて成るロービングを含む複数のロービング層とを交互に積層して形成され、
前記溝を構成する溝壁は、前記ケース本体の周壁における前記複数の2軸織物層に連続する複数の2軸織物層と、前記ケース本体の軸心方向に対する配向角が±15〜75°の2軸の強化繊維帯及び前記ケース本体の軸心方向に対する配向角が0°の1軸の強化繊維帯の合計3軸の強化繊維帯から成るノンクリンプ構造の3軸織物を含む複数の3軸織物層とを交互に積層して形成されている
ことを特徴とする円筒状ケース。 - 前記ケース本体の周壁及び前記溝の溝壁における各表裏面がいずれも強化繊維に熱硬化性樹脂を含浸させた複合材料から成る保護膜で被覆されている請求項1に記載の円筒状ケース。
- 前記溝を構成する溝壁がTi合金製又はNi合金製のカバーで被覆され、航空機用ジェットエンジンのファンブレードを覆うファンケースとして用いられる請求項1又は2に記載の円筒状ケース。
- 請求項1〜3のいずれかに記載の円筒状ケースの製造方法であって、
外周面を成形面とした筒状のマンドレルをその軸心周りに回転させつつ、前記2軸の強化繊維帯から成るノンクリンプ構造の前記2軸織物を該マンドレルの前記成形面上に巻き付けて前記2軸織物層を形成する2軸織物層形成工程と、
前記マンドレルをその軸心周りに回転させつつ、前記強化繊維を束ねて成るロービングを該マンドレルの前記成形面における前記ケース本体の成形部位上に周方向に沿ってらせん状に巻き付けて前記ロービング層を形成するロービング層形成工程と、
前記マンドレルをその軸心周りに回転させつつ、前記3軸の強化繊維帯から成るノンクリンプ構造の前記3軸織物を該マンドレルの前記成形面における前記溝の成形部位上に巻き付けて前記3軸織物層を形成する3軸織物層形成工程と、を繰り返し行って前記ケース本体に相当する部分を有する積層体を成形した後、
溝成形型と前記マンドレルの端部に位置する溝成形部とにより、前記積層体における前記ケース本体に相当する部分の端部に前記溝に相当する部分を成形する溝成形工程と、
この溝成形工程によって前記ケース本体に相当する部分の端部に前記溝に相当する部分が成形された前記積層体を加熱することにより、前記織物層の各強化繊維に含浸させた熱硬化性樹脂を硬化させる加熱工程と、を経る
ことを特徴とする円筒状ケースの製造方法。
