屈折率(RI)、オンライン4キャピラリーブリッジ式粘度計(PL-BV 400-HT)、及び、角度15°及び90°を用いるデュアル光散乱検出器(PL-LS 15/90という光散乱検出器)を備えたPL 220(Agilent)GPCが使用された。Agilentの3x Olexis及び1x Olexis Guardカラムを固定相として、1,2,4-トリクロロベンゼン(TCB、250mg/Lの2,6-ジtertブチル-4-メチル-フェノールを用いて安定化させた)を移動相として、160℃で1ml/分の一定フローレートで加えた。分析の都度、200μLの試料溶液を注入した。いずれの試料も、ポリマー8.0〜12.0mgを、安定化させたTCB(移動相と同じもの)10ml(160℃)に、PPの場合2.5時間、又はPEの場合3時間にわたって、160℃で静かに絶え間なく振とうしながら溶解することにより調製した。注入した160℃(c160℃)のポリマー溶液の濃縮物を、以下の方法で求めた。
ISO1133に従って、190℃にて2.16kg(MFR)の荷重下で低密度ポリエチレンのメルトフローレートを求めた。メルトフローレートは、ISO1133に標準化された試験機が、温度190℃にて2.16kg(MFR)の荷重下で10分以内に押し出したグラム単位のポリマーの量である。
動的せん断測定(周波数掃引測定)
動的せん断測定によるポリマー溶融物の特性決定は、ISO標準6721-1及び6721-10に準拠する。25mmのパラレルプレート構造を備えたAnton Paar MCR501応力制御回転レオメータで測定を行った。窒素雰囲気を使用し、線形粘弾性領域(linear viscoelastic regime)の範囲内にひずみを定めて、圧縮成形プレート上で測定に着手した。0.01〜600rad/秒の範囲の周波数を加え、間隙を1.3mmと定めて、振動せん断試験を、190℃で行った。

試験
押出コーティングの実行は、Beloit共押出コーティングラインで行われた。ラインはPeter CloerenのEBRダイ及び5層のフィードブロックを有していた。ラインダイ開口部の幅は850〜1000mmであり、基材の最大幅は800mmであり、ラインスピードは100m/分を維持した。
Claims (15)
- 分子量分布Mw/Mnが15以下であり、5kPaの損失弾性率G''で測定した貯蔵弾性率G'が3000Pa超であり、重量平均分子量(Mw)が192000〜250000g/molの間であり、ISO1133(190℃、2.16kg)によるメルトフローレート(MFR)が3.0g/10分より高い低密度ポリエチレン。
- ビニリデン含有量が少なくとも15/100kCである、請求項1に記載の低密度ポリエチレン。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の低密度ポリエチレンを含む、押出コーティング又は押出積層プロセス用の組成物。
- 請求項1又は2に記載の低密度ポリエチレンを、組成物の全重量に基づいて5〜40重量%の量で含む、請求項3に記載の組成物。
- 遷移金属触媒の存在下で調製した少なくとも1つのオレフィンポリマーをさらに含み、前記オレフィンポリマーが、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン又はポリ-1-ブテンのホモ又はコポリマーから選択される、請求項3又は4に記載の組成物。
- 管状反応器中において、高圧下でのラジカル開始重合により、請求項1又は2に記載の低密度ポリエチレンを生成するプロセスであって、重合は、1種以上のラジカル開始剤の作用下で、エチレンモノマーを含む反応混合物を反応させることにより行われ、反応器の第1の反応域内に入る反応混合物の入口温度が125〜134℃であることを特徴とする前記プロセス。
- 以下のラジカル開始剤(ここで、各ラジカル開始剤について0.1時間半減期温度(T 1 / 2 )を示す):開始剤A(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 75〜90℃)、開始剤B(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 80〜95℃)、開始剤C(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 105〜125℃)、開始剤D(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 125〜140℃)、開始剤E(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 130〜145℃)及び開始剤F(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 155〜175℃)で構成されるラジカル開始剤カクテルが使用される、請求項6に記載のプロセス。
- 反応器の第1の反応域内のピーク温度が308℃超である、請求項6又は7に記載のプロセス。
- ビニリデンを低密度ポリエチレンに導入するためのエチレンの連続重合方法であって、125〜134℃である反応器の第1の反応域内に入る反応混合物の入口温度を選択し、かつ以下のラジカル開始剤(ここで、各ラジカル開始剤について0.1時間半減期温度(T 1 / 2 )を示す):開始剤A(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 75〜90℃)、開始剤B(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 80〜95℃)、開始剤C(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 105〜125℃)、開始剤D(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 125〜140℃)、開始剤E(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 130〜145℃)及び開始剤F(クロロベンゼン中で0.1時間T 1 / 2 155〜175℃)で構成されるラジカル開始剤カクテルを使用することによりビニリデンを低密度ポリエチレンに導入することを特徴とする、前記方法。
- 反応器の第1の反応域内のピーク温度が308℃超である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 反応器の第1の反応域内のピーク温度が316℃以上である、請求項9に記載の方法。
- 押出コーティングプロセスの方法であって、請求項1若しくは2に記載の低密度ポリエチレン、又は請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の組成物を、溶融した状態で、フラットダイを通して平坦基材に押し出すことにより、前記平坦基材を押出コーティングするステップを含む方法。
- 請求項1若しくは2に記載の低密度ポリエチレン、又は請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の組成物を利用する押出積層プロセスの方法。
- 請求項1若しくは2に記載の低密度ポリエチレン、又は請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の組成物を含む、押出品。
- 押出コーティング、押出積層、フィルムブロー、フィルムキャスティング、ワイヤ及びケーブル押出、射出成形、ブロー成形又はパイプ押出における、請求項1若しくは2に記載の低密度ポリエチレン、又は請求項3〜5のいずれかに記載の組成物の使用。
