Description

Claims (4)
- 発光粒子であって、
受光光の一部分に対して光子下方変換を実施するように構成され、窒化物を含む発光化合物と、
発光粒子に吸収される受光光の部分を増大させるように作動可能な発光粒子上の反射率低減外面と、
を含み、
複数の前記発光粒子は、450nmの主波長で、38パーセント未満の第1の拡散反射率を有し、
前記反射率低減外面は、粒子の原子構造内の構成要素の間の境界において粒子材料を反応させることによって面応力及び粒子内の欠陥の少なくとも1つを低減し、
前記発光粒子は、該発光粒子の外面上に不動態化領域を含み、該不動態化領域は前記発光粒子の内部部分よりも高い百分率の酸素を含むことを特徴とする発光粒子。 - 請求項1に記載の発光粒子と、
発光源と、
を含むことを特徴とする発光装置。 - 前記発光粒子は、シリコーン封入剤内に分散され、
前記発光源は、380から470nmの範囲の波長で最大発光を有する放射線を放出し、
前記発光粒子は、前記発光源から放出された前記光の少なくとも一部を吸収し、かつ500から700nmの範囲の波長で最大発光を有する光を放出する、
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載の発光装置。 - 前記窒化物は、Ca1-xSrxAlSiN3、Ca2Si5N8、Sr2Si5N8、Ba2Si5N8、BaSi7N10、BaYSi4N7、Ca1.5Si9Al3N16、及びCaSiN2を含む群から選択されることを特徴とする請求項1に記載の発光粒子。
