Description
単電池間の熱交換を許容する散熱板を用いることにより、単電池間の温度バラツキを抑制できる。
電池群の熱は、散熱板を介してバッテリケースに放熱される。これにより、電池群の温度上昇が、より効果的に抑制される。
上述の実施形態では、単電池30は、車両の高さ方向Hに延びて配置したが、本発明はこれに限るものではなく、車両の高さ方向Hから視た時に、電池群21が保持板22の縁よりも内側の領域、つまり、電池群21が保持板22の縁よりも外側に張り出さないように配置されていればよい。例えば、図5に図示するように、保持板22及び電池群21を車両の前進方向Lに対して角度θ1だけ傾斜させた場合であっても、車両の高さ方向Hから視た時に、電池群21が保持板22の縁よりも内側の領域に収まっていればよい。
また、図6に図示するように、電池群21及び保持板22のうち電池群21のみを車両の前進方向Lに対して角度θ2だけ傾斜させた場合であっても、車両の高さ方向Hから視た時に、電池群21が保持板22の縁よりも内側の領域に収まっていればよい。これらの変形例1及び2に図示する構成によれば、車両衝突時に車幅方向W、車両前後方向からバッテリ10に向かって変形する車両構造物は、保持板22に当接するため、電池群21を衝撃から保護することができる。
上述の実施形態では、バッテリ10は、ラゲージルームLRに配置されるが、本発明はこれに限るものではなく、他の位置に配置することもできる。当該他の位置は、リアシート下のフロアパネルであってもよい。この場合、車両前後方向L及び車幅方向Wから加わる衝撃に対して、保持板22が防壁となることにより、電池群21は保護される。したがって、リアシート下にバッテリ10を配置した場合であっても、電池群21は衝突から保護される。
上述の実施形態では、保持板22は、矩形に形成されたが、本発明はこれに限るものではなく、他の構成であってもよい。当該他の構成は、円形、楕円形、矩形以外の多角形であってもよい。これらの形状であっても、車両の高さ方向から視た時に、電池群21が保持板22の縁よりも内側に配置されることにより、電池群21は車両衝突時の衝撃から保護される。
上述の実施形態では、保持板22は、バッテリケース23に対して締結部材により固定されたが、本発明はこれに限るものではなく、他の固定方法であってもよい。当該他の固定方法は、例えば、溶接、カシメであってもよい。当該他の固定方法であっても、保持板22及びバッテリケース23が互いに接触することにより、電池群21の熱は、保持板22を介してバッテリケース23に放熱される。
上述の実施形態では、保持板22は、散熱機能を有しているが、本発明はこれに限るものではなく、熱伝導率の極めて低い板材であってもよい。この場合、個々の単電池30に熱交換素子(例えば、ペルチェ素子)を設けるなどにより、単電池30間の温度バラツキを抑制することができる。

Claims (4)
- バッテリを搭載した車両であって、
前記バッテリは、バッテリケースに収容され、
前記バッテリは、
円筒形状のケース内に電解液とともに発電要素が収容された単電池であって、径方向に直交する軸方向が車両の高さ方向となる向きに配置された単電池を複数有する電池群と、
平板状に形成されており、各前記単電池が貫通する貫通孔によって、各前記単電池を前記径方向から保持するとともに、前記単電池間の熱交換を許容する散熱板であって、前記バッテリケースに対して底面が接触した状態で固定されている散熱板と、を有し、
車両の高さ方向視において、前記電池群は、前記散熱板の縁よりも内側の領域に位置することを特徴とする車両。 - 車両の高さ方向視において、前記散熱板は、車幅方向に延びる第1の縁部と、車幅方向に直交して車両の前後方向に延びる第2の縁部と、を有することを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両。
- 車両の高さ方向において、前記単電池の正極は上側に位置し、前記単電池の負極は下側に位置することを特徴とする請求項1又は2に記載の車両。
- 前記バッテリは、車両のラゲージルームに搭載されていることを特徴とする請求項1から3のいずれか1つに記載の車両。
