Claims (5)
- 原料と、加熱した基体上の触媒とを接触させて、前記基体の一面側にカーボンナノファイバを形成する、カーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造方法であって、
前記原料が、多環芳香族炭化水素を含む液体または固体で構成され、
前記基体の外周面に触媒材料を含む塗布液を塗布する触媒塗布工程と、
前記触媒材料を加熱する第1加熱工程と、
前記触媒材料を還元する還元性ガスを供給し、活性化した粒子状の触媒を形成する工程と、
前記基体のうち前記原料が塗布される部分を加熱する第2加熱工程と、
前記触媒に原料を塗布して接触させる原料塗布工程とからなる、カーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造方法。 - 前記基体として円筒状のものを用いる請求項1に記載のカーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造方法。
- 前記カーボンナノファイバをスクレイパにより剥離する請求項1又は2に記載のカーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造方法。
- 酸化性ガスを供給し、前記カーボンナノファイバが剥離されて露出した前記基体の前記外周面がクリーニングされる請求項3に記載のカーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造方法。
- 基体の一面側にカーボンナノファイバを有するカーボンナノファイバ構造体を製造する
ためのカーボンナノファイバ構造体の製造装置であって、
回転可能に支持される基体と、
前記基体の外周面に触媒材料を含む塗布液を塗布する触媒塗布装置と、
前記触媒材料を加熱する第1加熱装置と、
前記第1加熱装置により加熱された前記触媒材料を還元する還元性ガスを供給し、活性
化した粒子状の触媒を形成する還元性ガス供給装置と、
前記触媒に原料を塗布して接触させる原料塗布装置と、
前記基体のうち前記原料が塗布される部分を加熱する第2加熱装置とを備え、
前記原料が、多環芳香族炭化水素を含む液体または固体で構成される、カーボンナノフ
ァイバ構造体の製造装置。
