Description
Claims (3)
- 偏波変換器であって、
光入力面及び光軸を有する第1の集光光学系、
前記光軸に平行な第1の伝搬方向に沿って前記光入力面の中に非偏光光束を入射することができる非偏光光源、
複屈折プリズムを含む光学素子であって、前記光学素子が、前記第1の集光光学系の前記光入力面とは反対側において前記第1の集光光学系に面し、
前記光学素子が前記非偏光光束を、直交した偏光状態を有する第1の偏光光束及び第2の偏光光束に分割することができ、前記第1及び第2の偏光光束の少なくとも1つが前記第1の伝搬方向から発散する、光学素子、並びに
前記光学素子及び前記第1の集光光学系から前記光入力面に向かって前記第1及び第2の偏光光束を逆に反射するように配設された反射器であって、
前記第1の偏光光束が前記非偏光光源からずれて配置された第1の位置で前記光入力面を通り抜けかつ前記第2の偏光光束が前記第1の位置及び前記非偏光光源からずれて配置された第2の位置で前記光入力面を通り抜ける、反射器を含む、偏波変換器。 - 請求項1に記載の偏波変換器を含み、前記非偏光光源が、第1の色光を放射することができる第1の色光源及び第2の色光を放射することができる第2の色光源を含み、それぞれが前記光軸からずれて配置され、並びに前記反射器がダイクロイックプレートを含む、偏波変換色合成器。
- 前記ダイクロイックプレートが、
前記第1の色光を反射し、かつその他の色光を透過することができる第1のダイクロイック反射器、及び
前記第2の色光を反射することができる第2の反射器を含み、
前記第1及び第2の色光の両方が反射されて、前記光軸に沿って前記光入力面から、結合された色光束として出射するように、前記第1のダイクロイック反射器及び前記第2の反射器がそれぞれに傾斜している、請求項2に記載の偏波変換色合成器。
