Description
Claims (8)
- セラミックス製の転動体の検査方法であって、
前記転動体に光源からX線を照射する工程と、
前記転動体を透過した前記X線を検出する工程と、
検出された前記X線のデータを演算して画像を作成する工程と、
前記画像に基づいて前記転動体の欠陥を検出する工程とを備え、
前記X線を照射する工程では、前記光源に対向する前記転動体の領域全体に前記X線が照射されつつ、前記光源が前記転動体の周りを相対的に回転し、
前記画像を作成する工程では、前記転動体の周り1周分の前記X線のデータが演算されて前記画像が作成される、転動体の検査方法。 - 前記X線を照射する工程では、焦点サイズが10μm以下の前記光源から前記X線が照射される、請求項1に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- 前記X線を照射する工程では、前記光源から円錐状に広がる前記X線が前記転動体に照射される、請求項1または2に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- 前記セラミックスは窒化珪素またはサイアロンを主成分とするセラミックスである、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- 前記欠陥を検出する工程では内部欠陥が検出される、請求項1〜4のいずれか1項に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- 前記欠陥を検出する工程では、少なくとも20μm以上の大きさの欠陥が検出される、請求項1〜5のいずれか1項に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- 前記欠陥を検出する工程において検出される欠陥は金属介在物または空孔である、請求項1〜6のいずれか1項に記載の転動体の検査方法。
- セラミックス製の転動体を作製する工程と、
前記転動体を検査する工程とを備え、
前記転動体を検査する工程では、請求項1〜7のいずれか1項に記載の転動体の検査方法により前記転動体が検査される、転動体の製造方法。
