Description
入力部11は、例えばピンジャック(RCA)タイプのビデオ入力端子、D−sub15タイプのRGB入力端子、HDMI(High−Definition Multimedia Interface)端子などにより構成される。入力部11に入力された各種規格の画像信号は、入力部11で必要に応じてデジタル化された後に、システムバスSBを介して画像変換部12に送られる。
一方のB−LD19が発する青色のレーザ光は、ダイクロイックミラー21を透過した後にカラーホイール22の周面に照射される。このカラーホイール22は、ホイールモータ(M)23により回転されるもので、上記青色のレーザ光が照射される周面には蛍光体層22Gと拡散層22Bとを形成している。カラーホイール22の蛍光体層22Gが形成されている面の裏面には図示しない反射板が蛍光体層22Gと重なるように設けられている。拡散層22Bは、磨りガラス状の透過部材である。
なお、繰返しになるが以下に示す動作は全て、CPU28がプログラムメモリ30から読出した動作プログラムや固定データ等をメインメモリ29に展開して記憶させた上で実行する。
そのため、図4(B)に示すようにR−LED18は同期用のSyncフィールドとRフィールドの双方で発光駆動される。
請求項1記載の発明は、複数の半導体発光素子を含む光源部と、画像信号を入力する入力部と、上記光源部からの光を用い、上記入力部で入力した画像信号に応じた光像を形成して投影する投影部と、上記光源部が備える複数の半導体発光素子を同時に発光駆動し、立体画像投影時の同期用信号を発信させる光源制御手段と、上記光源制御手段で発信させた同期用信号の色と補色となる色の光像を上記投影部で形成する際に、ゼロ階調から上記同期用信号の輝度レベルに応じた階調までを一律の階調に補正する階調制御手段とを具備したことを特徴とする。
Claims (3)
- 複数色の半導体発光素子を含む光源部と、
画像信号を入力する入力部と、
上記光源部からの光を用い、上記入力部で入力した画像信号に応じた光像を形成して投影する投影部と、
上記光源部が備える複数色の半導体発光素子を同時に発光駆動し、立体画像投影時の左右画像切換えのための同期用信号を発生させる光源制御手段と、
上記光源制御手段で発生させた同期用信号の色と補色となる色の光像を上記投影部で形成する際に、ゼロ階調から上記同期用信号の輝度レベルに応じた階調までを一律の階調に補正する階調制御手段と
を具備したことを特徴とする投影装置。 - 上記階調制御手段は、上記入力部で入力した画像信号が有する入力階調に対する、上記投影部で光像を形成する際に使用する出力階調を補正するガンマ補正の一部で実行することを特徴とする請求項1記載の投影装置。
- 複数色の半導体発光素子を含む光源部、画像信号を入力する入力部、及び上記光源部からの光を用い、上記入力部で入力した画像信号に応じた光像を形成して投影する投影部を備えた装置での投影制御方法であって、
上記光源部が備える複数色の半導体発光素子を同時に発光駆動し、立体画像投影時の左右画像切換えのための同期用信号を発生させる光源制御工程と、
上記光源制御工程で発生させた同期用信号の色と補色となる色の光像を上記投影部で形成する際に、ゼロ階調から上記同期用信号の輝度レベルに応じた階調までを一律の階調に補正する階調制御工程と
を有したことを特徴とする投影制御方法。
