Description
安全針組立体を製造する本発明の方法の一実施形態は、内部通路を画定する本体壁及び本体壁に設けられた開口部を有する細長い本体を用意するステップを有する。この方法は、ウイングを本体に係合させてウイングが本体から側方に延びるようにするステップを更に有する。ウイングは、安全針組立体を患者に固定するために患者の皮膚に当たって位置するよう構成された実質的に平面状又は平べったい部分を有する。この方法は、針ハブを本体の近位端部に係合させて尖った遠位先端を備えた針が本体内部通路を貫通して本体の遠位端部から出るようにするステップを更に有する。針ハブは、本体に対して静止状態にある。この方法は、針遮蔽体を本体内部通路内に位置決めして遮蔽体が針の一部分を包囲すると共にこの遮蔽体が本体及び針に対して摺動するが、この遮蔽体が本体に対して実質的に回転できないようにするステップを更に有する。この方法は、付勢要素を針ハブと針遮蔽体との間で圧縮して付勢要素が針遮蔽体を針の遠位端部に向かって付勢するようにするステップを更に有する。この方法は、針遮蔽体から延びる解除ラッチを本体壁の開口部の縁に係合させて解除ラッチが本体及び針に対する遠位側への針遮蔽体の運動を阻止するようにするステップを更に有する。
Claims (20)
- 安全針組立体(20,140)の製造方法であって、前記方法は、
針遮蔽体(52,150)を細長い本体(22,148)内に位置決めするステップを有し、前記細長い本体(22,148)は、内部通路(26,96)を画定する本体壁(24,94)及び前記本体壁(24,94)に設けられた開口部(28)を有し、前記針遮蔽体(52,150)は、内部通路を画定する本体部分(54,172)と、この本体部分(54,172)の遠位端部に形成されて板ばね及び戻り止め(64)を備えた解除ラッチ(56)と、前記安全針組立体(20,140)が作動される際に前記細長い本体(22,148)に係合するための、前記遠位端部と反対側の前記本体部分(54,172)の近位端部から延びる少なくとも1つの保持ラッチ(60,142)と、を有し、
細長い針(42)が延びる起点としての針ハブ(38)を前記本体部分(54,172)の前記内部通路内に少なくとも部分的に位置決めして前記細長い針(42)が前記針遮蔽体(52,150)の遠位端部及び前記細長い本体(22,148)を貫通するようにするステップを有し、
ウイング組立体(45,111)を前記細長い本体(22,148)に係合させてウイング(46)が前記細長い本体(22,148)から側方に延びるようにするステップを有し、
付勢要素(70)を前記針ハブ(38)と前記針遮蔽体(52,150)との間で圧縮して前記付勢要素(70)が前記針遮蔽体(52,150)を前記細長い針(42)の遠位端部に向かって付勢するようにするステップを有し、
前記針遮蔽体(52,150)に板ばね及び戻り止め(64)を有する前記解除ラッチ(56)を前記本体壁(24,94)の前記開口部(28)の縁に係合させて前記解除ラッチ(56)が前記細長い本体(22,148)及び前記細長い針(42)に対する遠位側への前記針遮蔽体(52,150)の運動を阻止するようにするステップを有する、方法。 - 前記ウイングは、前記安全針組立体を患者に固定するために患者の皮膚に当たったままになるよう構成された実質的に平面状の部分を有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記付勢要素は、コイルばねである、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記付勢要素の近位端部は、前記針ハブに係合し、前記付勢要素の遠位端部は、前記針遮蔽体に係合する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記本体壁の外面に係合すると共に前記本体壁の前記開口部を横切って延びる片持ち部分を含む押しボタンアクチベータを前記ウイング組立体に用意するステップを更に有する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体がいつでも使用可能な形態にあるとき、前記押しボタンアクチベータの前記片持ち部分は、前記解除ラッチに設けられた戻り止めに係合して前記押しボタンに加えられた指圧が前記戻り止めに伝えられるようにする、請求項5記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体は、前記針遮蔽体が前記針の遠位先端を覆う保護形態にあるとき、前記保持ラッチは、前記針遮蔽体が前記本体からその前記遠位端部を通って完全に送り出されるのを阻止するよう前記本体壁に設けられた第2の開口部に嵌合する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体は、前記針遮蔽体が前記針の遠位先端を覆う保護位置にあるとき、前記保持ラッチは、前記針遮蔽体が前記針に対して近位側に摺動して前記針の遠位先端を露出させるのを阻止するよう前記本体壁に設けられた第2の開口部に嵌合する、請求項1記載の方法。
- 安全針組立体(20,140)内の針を遮蔽する方法であって、前記方法は、
いつでも使用可能な形態にある前記安全針組立体(20,140)の細長い本体(22,148)を掴むステップを有し、前記細長い本体(22,148)は、内部通路(26,96)を画定する本体壁(24,94)及び前記本体壁(24,94)に設けられた開口部(28)を有し、前記内部通路(26,96)は、尖った遠位先端(44)を備えた針(42)の一部分を包囲し、前記尖った遠位先端(44)は、前記細長い本体(22,148)の開口端部(32)を越えて延び、
針遮蔽体(52,150)の本体部分(54,172)の遠位端部に形成された解除ラッチ(56)を押し下げて前記解除ラッチ(56)の戻り止め(64)を前記本体壁(24,94)の前記開口部(28)の縁から離脱させるステップを有し、前記開口部(28)からの前記戻り止め(64)の離脱により、付勢部材(70)に加わっている圧縮力が解除されると共に前記細長い本体(22,148)の内部通路(26,96)内に設けられた針遮蔽体(52,150)が前記細長い本体(22,148)及び前記針(42)に対して遠位側に摺動して前記針の遠位先端(44)を覆うようになり、前記針遮蔽体(52,150)は、少なくとも1つの保持ラッチ(60,142)が前記遠位端部と反対側の前記針遮蔽体の本体部分の近位端部から延びて前記細長い本体(22,148)に係合するときに、遠位側に摺動するのを停止させ、
前記針(42)は、前記細長い本体(22,148)の近位端部(40)に係合する針ハブ(38)内に保持されると共に前記細長い本体(22,148)に対して静止状態にあり、前記解除ラッチ(56)が押し下げられても、前記針(42)も前記針ハブ(38)も前記細長い本体(22,148)に対して動くことがないようになっている、方法。 - 前記付勢要素は、コイルばねである、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記解除ラッチの押し下げステップは、前記本体壁の外面に係合すると共に前記本体壁の前記開口部を横切って延びる片持ち部分を有する押しボタンを押し下げるステップを更に含む、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体が前記いつでも使用可能な形態にあるとき、前記押しボタンの前記片持ち部分は、前記戻り止めに係合して前記押しボタンに加えられている指圧が前記戻り止めに伝えられるようにする、請求項11記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体は、前記針遮蔽体が前記針の遠位先端を覆う保護形態にあるとき、前記針遮蔽体が前記本体からその前記遠位端部を通って完全に送り出されるのを阻止するよう前記少なくとも1つの保持ラッチが前記本体壁に設けられた第2の開口部に嵌合する、請求項9記載の方法。
- 前記安全針組立体は、前記針遮蔽体が前記針の遠位先端を覆う保護位置にあるとき、前記針遮蔽体が前記針に対して近位側に摺動して前記針の遠位先端を露出させるのを阻止するよう前記少なくとも1つの保持ラッチが前記本体壁に設けられた第2の開口部に嵌合する、請求項9記載の方法。

前記細長い本体(22,148)の内部通路(26,96)内に設けられると共に前記針(42)の一部分を包囲した針遮蔽体(52,150)を有し、前記針遮蔽体(52,150)は、前記細長い本体(22,148)及び前記針(42)に対して摺動可能であり、前記針遮蔽体(52,150)は、近位開口部(62)を備えた細長い区分(54,172)、第1の直径の内部ボア、前記細長い区分(54,172)の遠位端部に形成され且つ前記細長い区分(54,172)から延びる板ばねを含む解除ラッチ(56)、及び、本体部分(54,172)の近位端部から延び、且つ脚部及び戻り止め(64)を備え、前記安全針組立体(20,140)が保護位置で作動される際に、前記細長い本体(22,148)に係合する少なくとも1つの保持ラッチ(60,142)を有し、

- 前記近位側に延びる保持ラッチは、前記細長い区分の周囲に沿って等間隔を置いて配置されている、請求項15記載の安全針組立体。
- 前記針遮蔽体は、前記針の遠位先端を覆い、前記少なくとも1つの保持ラッチは、前記保護位置の前記本体の前記開口部に係合する請求項15記載の安全針組立体。
- 前記針遮蔽体は、前記針の遠位先端を覆い、前記少なくとも1つの保持ラッチは、前記保護位置の前記本体の第2の開口部に係合する請求項15記載の安全針組立体。
- 第1の開口部は、前記本体壁の上面に位置し、前記第2の開口部は、前記本体壁(24)の下面に位置する請求項19記載の安全針組立体。
