Description
Claims (21)
- 食用のフレーバード氷片を作るための製氷システムであって、
フレーバード液体を保持するリザーバと、
製氷蒸発器及び前記蒸発器内の中央に配置されたオーガを備える氷機であって、前記リザーバから前記フレーバード液体を受け取り、前記食用のフレーバード氷片を生成する氷機と、
フレーバード氷飲料用の前記食用のフレーバード氷片を、貯蔵しつつ、該食用のフレーバード氷片におけるフレーバード濃度を維持するための貯蔵ビンと、
前記食用のフレーバード氷片が、こし器及び前記氷機から前記貯蔵ビンまでの流氷路を経由して移動する移動ゾーンと、
前記食用のフレーバード氷片からの前記フレーバード液体の滲出を減少するために、前記貯蔵ビンの温度を安定させる冷却システムと、
を備える製氷システム。 - フレーバリングを貯蔵する容器、水供給源、前記フレーバード液体の前記リザーバへの流れを制御するポンプ、及び前記フレーバード液体を生成するために前記フレーバリングを水と混合する混合装置を備える、請求項1に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記食用のフレーバード氷片が、フレーク及びナゲットからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記フレーバリングが、濃縮物、抽出物、シロップ、ジュース、及び他のフレーバード生成物からなる群から選択される、請求項2に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記フレーバリングが、コーヒー、コーヒー濃縮物、又はコーヒー抽出物である、請求項2に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記混合装置が混合弁を備える、請求項2に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記リザーバ、前記氷機、前記容器、前記混合装置、及び前記ポンプからなる群から選択された1つ又は複数を冷却する少なくとも1つの他の冷却システムをさらに備える、請求項2に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記食用のフレーバード氷片を生成するために前記氷機を制御する制御システムをさらに備える、請求項1に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記リザーバ内の前記フレーバード液体の所定のレベルを保つために配置されたフロート機構をさらに備え、前記制御システムがまた、前記フレーバード液体が前記所定のレベルを下回った場合に前記氷機の作動を停止させる、請求項8に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記貯蔵ビン内に配置された温度測定装置をさらに備え、前記制御システムが、前記温度を20°F及び32°Fの間の範囲に保つように、前記温度測定装置の出力に基づいて前記貯蔵ビン内の前記温度を安定させる、請求項8に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記食用のフレーバード氷片が、前記貯蔵ビンから手動で又は分注器によって自動的に除去される、請求項1に記載の製氷システム。
- 食用のフレーバード氷片を作る方法であって、
リザーバ内にフレーバード液体を保持すること、
前記フレーバード液体を前記リザーバから氷機に送出すること、
前記氷機で前記食用のフレーバード氷片を生成すること、
フレーバード氷飲料用の前記食用のフレーバード氷片を、貯蔵ビン内で貯蔵しつつ、該食用のフレーバード氷片におけるフレーバード濃度を維持すること、
前記食用のフレーバード氷片が、前記氷機から、こし器及び流氷路を経由する移動ゾーンを通って、前記貯蔵ビンまで移動すること、及び
前記食用のフレーバード氷片からの前記フレーバード液体の滲出を減少するために、前記貯蔵ビンの温度を安定させること、
を含む方法。 - 前記食用のフレーバード氷片が、フレーク及びナゲットからなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記フレーバード液体が、濃縮物、抽出物、シロップ、ジュース、及び他のフレーバード生成物からなる群から選択されるフレーバリングを含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記フレーバリングが、コーヒー、コーヒー濃縮物、又はコーヒー抽出物である、請求項14に記載の方法。
- 前記リザーバ、前記氷機、前記貯蔵ビン、容器、混合装置、及びポンプからなる群から選択された1つ又は複数を冷却すること、をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記リザーバ内の前記フレーバード液体の所定のレベルを保つこと、及び、前記フレーバード液体が前記所定のレベルを下回った場合に前記氷機の作動を停止させること、をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記安定させることは、前記貯蔵ビン内の前記温度を20°F〜32°Fの間の範囲に保つステップである、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記食用のフレーバード氷片を前記貯蔵ビンから手動で又は自動的に除去すること、をさらに含む、請求項12に記載の方法。
- 前記フレーバード液体は重力によって前記氷機に送出される、請求項1に記載の製氷システム。
- 前記フレーバード液体は重力によって前記氷機に送出される、請求項12に記載の方法。
