Claims (4)
- 車両の後方の障害物を検知する後方センサを有し、前記車両の後退時に前記後方センサにより検知された前記障害物と前記車両との接触を防止するように前記車両の走行を制御する後退接触防止手段を備え、
前記後退接触防止手段は、
前記車両の後退時に前記後方センサにより検知された前記障害物と前記車両との接触を防止するように、前記車両に減速度を与えることにより、前記車両のドライバーの操作によらずに前記車両を停止させる走行制御を行ない、
前記走行制御により前記車両を停止させた後に、所定の時間は前記車両の停止状態を保持し、
前記所定の時間の経過後に、前記車両に付与していた前記減速度を小さくすることにより、前記車両の後退を再開させ、
前記所定の時間は、
前記走行制御により前記車両を停止させた後に、前記車両のブレーキペダルが踏まれているときは、前記車両のブレーキペダルが踏まれなくなってからの第1の時間であり、
前記走行制御により前記車両を停止させた後に、前記車両のブレーキペダルが踏まれていないときは、前記第1の時間よりも長い第2の時間である、走行支援装置。 - 前記後退接触防止手段は、前記所定の時間の経過後に、前記車両に付与していた前記減速度を徐々に小さくすることにより、前記車両の後退を再開させる、請求項1に記載の走行支援装置。
- 前記後退接触防止手段は、前記車両の後退を再開させるときは、前記車両のドライバーによるアクセルペダル操作に応じて、前記車両に付与していた前記減速度を小さくする、請求項1又は2に記載の走行支援装置。
- 前記後退接触防止手段は、前記車両の後退時に前記後方センサにより検知された第1の前記障害物と前記車両との接触を防止するように、前記走行制御により前記車両を停止させた後に、前記後方センサにより第2の前記障害物が検知されたときは、第2の前記障害物と前記車両との接触を防止するように、前記走行制御により前記車両を停止させる前記走行制御を行なう、請求項1〜3のいずれか1項に記載の走行支援装置。
