Description
入口側の第1圧力の燃料源から出口側のチャンバまでの流れを制御するように、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で移動可能な入口バルブ部材を含み、入口バルブ部材は、入口側の燃料の流体圧力とチャンバ内の流体圧力との間の圧力差が閾値を超えるのに応じて開放するように構成されており、
入口バルブ装置は、入口バルブ部材を閉鎖位置に向かって押圧するように入口バルブ部材に閉鎖力を選択的に加える手段を含み、使用時に前記手段によって閉鎖力を加えることにより、入口バルブ部材が開放する圧力差の閾値を増大する、入口バルブ装置が提供される。

Claims (15)
- コモンレール燃料噴射装置で使用するための燃料ポンプのポンプヘッド用の入口バルブ装置(9)であって、
低圧燃料源から前記燃料ポンプの圧送チャンバ(6)までの流れを制御するように、開放位置と閉鎖位置との間で移動可能な入口バルブ部材(10)であって、前記入口バルブ部材(10)の入口側に作用する燃料の流体圧力と前記圧送チャンバ(6)内の燃料圧力との間の圧力差が閾値を超えるのに応じて開放するように構成されている、入口バルブ部材(10)と、
前記入口バルブ部材(10)を閉鎖位置に向かって押圧するように前記入口バルブ部材(10)に閉鎖力を選択的に加える手段とを含み、使用時に前記手段によって前記閉鎖力を加えることにより、前記入口バルブ部材(10)が開放する前記圧力差の前記閾値を増大する入口バルブ装置。 - 請求項1に記載の入口バルブ装置において、
閉鎖力を選択的に加える前記手段は、随意には制御電流である制御信号と比例して変化する力を加えるように作動できる、入口バルブ装置。 - 請求項1又は2に記載の入口バルブ装置において、
前記手段は、電気部品を含む、入口バルブ装置。 - 請求項1、2、又は3に記載の入口バルブ装置において、
前記手段は、前記入口バルブ部材(10)に閉鎖力を及ぼすように作動できるソレノイドコイル(39)を含み、前記閉鎖力は、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)を流れる電流と比例する、入口バルブ装置。 - 請求項4に記載の入口バルブ装置において、
前記入口バルブ部材(10)に連結された強磁性体製のアーマチュア(26)を含み、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)を電流が流れるとき、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)が前記アーマチュア(26)に電磁力を及ぼす、入口バルブ装置。 - 請求項1乃至5のうちのいずれか一項に記載の入口バルブ装置において、
前記入口バルブ部材(10)を前記閉鎖位置に向かって押圧するように構成されたばね(28)を含み、前記圧力差の前記閾値は、前記入口バルブ部材(10)に作用する開放力と対応し、前記開放力は、前記ばね(28)によって及ぼされる前記閉鎖力よりも大きい、入口バルブ装置。 - コモンレール燃料噴射装置で使用するための燃料ポンプ用ポンプヘッドであって、
ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)と、請求項1乃至6のうちのいずれか一項に記載の入口バルブ装置(9)とを含む、ポンプヘッド(1)。 - 請求項7に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記入口バルブ部材(10)の入口側に作用する燃料の流体圧力は、通路(16)内の流体圧力で決まり、前記通路は、前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)の外側に取り付けられた閉鎖部材(34)によって部分的に形成された外チャンバ(42)と連通し、使用時に前記通路(16)は、前記外チャンバ(42)を介して前記低圧燃料源と連通している、ポンプヘッド。 - 請求項8に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記外チャンバ(42)は、入口ポート(44)を含み、前記入口ポート(44)は、使用時の前記外チャンバ(42)内の最大流体圧力が前記低圧燃料源の出力圧力よりも低い圧力に制限されるように、前記低圧燃料源から前記外チャンバ(42)内への流れを制限するように構成されている、ポンプヘッド。 - 請求項9に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記入口ポート(44)は、前記閉鎖部材(34)に設けられている、ポンプヘッド。 - 請求項8、9、又は10に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記入口バルブ部材(10)は、前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)のバルブボア(18)内で案内される細長いネック(14)を含み、前記バルブボア(18)は前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)の上面(20)と弁座(30)との間を延びる、ポンプヘッド。 - 請求項11に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記外チャンバ(42)は、前記閉鎖部材(34)と前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)の前記上面(20)との間に形成されており、
前記弁座(30)から離れて配置された前記ネック(14)の遠位端(24)は、前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)の前記上面(20)の上方で前記外チャンバ(42)内に突出している、ポンプヘッド。 - 請求項12に記載のポンプヘッドにおいて、
前記手段は、前記入口バルブ部材(10)に閉鎖力を及ぼすように作動できるソレノイドコイル(39)を含み、前記閉鎖力は、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)を流れる電流と比例し、
前記入口バルブ装置(9)は、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)に電流を流したときに前記ソレノイドコイル(39)から電磁力が及ぼされるように前記入口バルブ部材(10)に連結された強磁性体製のアーマチュア(26)と、前記入口バルブ部材(10)を閉鎖位置に向かって押圧するように構成されたばね(28)とを含み、前記圧力差の前記閾値は、前記入口バルブ部材(10)に作用する、前記ばね(28)によって及ぼされる閉鎖力よりも大きい開放力と対応し、

前記ソレノイドコイル(39)は、前記閉鎖部材(34)を前記ポンプヘッドハウジング(2)に取り付けたとき、前記ソレノイドコイル(39)が前記入口バルブ部材(10)の前記ネック(14)の前記遠位端(24)と隣接して且つ前記遠位端(24)と同軸に配置されるように、前記閉鎖部材(34)内に又は前記閉鎖部材(34)上に取り付けられている、ポンプヘッド。 - コモンレール燃料噴射装置で使用するための燃料ポンプであって、
請求項7乃至14のうちのいずれか一項に記載の少なくとも一つのポンプヘッド(1)を含む、燃料ポンプ。
